It makes me HUNGRY.
I run in a circle, just to end up at the same SPOT where i started running from.
This is Edge of Tommorow movie in World of Warcraft, except we live it every DAY.

I mean, a city shaped donut just sounds silly.

its not a donut its a inner tube. makes you want to go swimming doesn’t it?
Ironforge is one of my favourite cities. It’s like a doughnut a Dwarf took a bite out of.
Ironforge is a thing, and I like it. But the other place is also a thing, and not so much. Am I the only one who hates that when you switch levels in that place you end up facing a direction you have no intention of going? It’s minor and nitpicky but at times it’s breaking point with that bs.
I agree because my brain keeps thinking of it as a linear place. For example, it took me forever to stop running counter-clockwise from the portal entrance to the bank and start running clockwise. I wasted more time running from like 8 O’clock counter-clockwise to 11 O’clock instead of the shorter path.
Ironforge, Undercity, Shattrath, Dalaran, and Oribos are all circular. Never really thought about it before. The main difference is Oribos is two levels with no navigable center and no flying. I think this was the major flaw for Oribos, besides not being able to mount in the middle ring where everything of interest is actually located.
Flying and being able to traverse the city directly from one point to the other makes for a much better experience. Especially with a circular city.
Ironforge proves it’s not the donut shape that’s the problem with oribos. It’s the lack of distinct landmarks.
Well thanks, now I want donuts
I hope you’re happy
Took me ages to figure out the symbols, or were they added in afterwards?
yeh. just looked real bad straight up.
how did they not see that?
keep your intel buff on blizzard. lol
We need a city shaped like a 5 layer cake in the shape of a donut where you have to jump down each layer to get where you want to be. It can featuring a portal to teleport you to the top so you can try jumping down the layers again to get where you need to in case you jumped down a layer to far and need to go back to the previous layer.
i FEEL that way everytime i am in ORIBOS doing laps.
