Well we didn’t choose to get caught up in their conflict did we? They landed on our world and forced us into it so.
Same goes for all the other worlds they doomed
You are correct. The Alliance should have just executed the Orcs for their transgressions. Gilneas was right.
But then who would I feed pancakes to?!?
Wrong, Champ. Warlords of Draenor proved that the ‘peaceful Shamanist’ shtick of the Orcs was just a whole lot of talbuk poo.
The dirty savages are fit only for slavery or slaughter. I see no problem.
Heck, let’s just enslave the entire Horde. They could all have various uses.
For certain clans like the Warsong, yes. But we got to attacking after the Burning Legion decieved one of the pinnacle members of the orcs into thinking the draenei were going to attack us first.
You weren’t “forced”, you were deceived by Kil’jaeden and Ner’zhul’s inability to question the “ancestral spirits” true nature.
Rise of the Horde proved that. They hadnt switched over to fel magics when they started the draenei genocide. That came after.
I wonder if the Tauren ever have reflection when they see Ox pulling carts for their human masters. Then Baine will realize he is but livestock in Jaina’s eyes.
Because up to this point the ancestors were always right and never lied. At least, that we’re aware of.
I knew alliance would come in here trying to save face. Literally cant even own up to your crimes. Literally trying to justify slavery. Your lack of remorse and good judgement just shows why we will always be at war. Good will never stop fighting evil.
Every single one of your leaders turns evil. From arthus king of liches, to angry rage filled jaina, to the now Dark Tyrande with black eyes, the list goes on… Why cant you see this and if you actually cared to be a good person leave and join the Horde?
@Bravado… thats Metzen era warcraft. Thats the warcraft I love.
New blizzard took a steaming dump on that and now horde are all about doing whatever the narrative wants while alliance are whitewashed into generic good guys that do no wrong or at the very least are completely justified in what they do because blizzard now write the horde to be aggressors.
Saurfang started an unprovoked war vs the NE because he wanted to prevent a war… that is the literally how BFA started.
He forsook his honour at the onset because azerite exists???, then threw a tantrum and cried because sylvannas was forced to burn down telstrasil after he let malfurian escape (after intervening in their duel), then didn’t fight to the death vs alliance but allowed himself to be captured… its just one cluster%()& after another… this is TLJ level storytelling.
Gone are the days when an orc would rather fight to the death honourably, than win by dishonour… the horde identity Metzen made for our faction is gone.
You do know the Orcs did interact with the Draenei by trading, right?
And small skirmishes, you know that aswell, right? It was a both-ways relationship.
Easily manipulated, easily aggressive. Orc’s ain’t know a thing about honour, they’re the Klingons of WoW. Hypocrites, every last one of 'em. Stills, the easily manipulated part makes 'em prime business associates.
They mainly kept to themselves. If I’m not mistaken, didn’t the Draenei save a young Orc which kept peace between them until Kil’jaeden stepped in?
The Alliance of Lordaeron and the current Alliance are not the same factions dude.
Also the Orcs from Warcraft 1 & 2 worked with the Burning Legion to personally destroy Draenor and make it into Outland.
The Orcs that were enslaved were doing nothing but killing millions of innocent children and citizens.
In the world today, on Earth, in real life, if an intergalactic species of giant people came down to earth and only attacked Urban Centers and started killing people like terrorists, then we put them in camps, I’m pretty sure no one would question the morality.
Remember that it was Kael’Thas who insulted the Orcs and praised their captivity while it was Arthas and Jaina BOTH who condemned him and said “The Orcs have families, we should set them free.”
There is nuance dude.
Yes they did, a young Orgrim Doomhammer. And yes, they did mainly keep to themselves, but skirmishes, raids (by the orcs mainly), and trading did happen. Remember, the ancestors never lied and were the pinnacle of orc society (at least that we’re aware of again though, we don’t have any account of them lying or being incorrect to my knowledge).
Well, technically, no. They enslaved a bunch of warmongers who just sacked one of their cities and was plotting to take out their capital city of Lordaeron.
