Never Forget: Milkgate and Cosbygate

With this company going after a Classic WoW fan-project that shall not be named that has gotten more players than any of their recent projects… Allowing thousands of gold-farming bots to run rampant on Anniversary… Neglecting and ignoring the player base demanding more than two megaservers without layering… Ruining the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj not once, but twice… Killing Season of Discovery and flopping the release of retail’s Midnight expansion… Should we be surprised they want to claim the intellectual property created by Classic fans for Classic+? Blizzard wants as much money as they can get, and they will continue to scam their subscribers until the day they die. Blizzard will ruin Classic+ just like they ruined Season of Mastery, Season of Discovery, Mists of Pandaria, Classic Anniversary, and Midnight. RIP.

Season of Mastery wasn’t ruined :expressionless: it was and remains the best iteration of classic. SoM2 please

I mean it’s like with FFXIV mods. Don’t talk about it and don’t advertise it or they will get nuked.

I tried my hardest to like that game.

Sod was a seasonal server, it had to end to let others rise up from the ashes

Everything blizzard launches just dies within months because they don’t housekeep their products.

Why does turtle wow not have this problem?

Because turtles…

are cool.

Lol som isn’t classic. Inflated resources so many ez changes to make vanilla easier for babys. It was basically retail 2 and the went to era with tons of botted gold and mats. Pipe down SoM gdkp gold buyer.

Aw you’re gonna hurt Eyr’s feelers.
And he’ll be back in here to trumpet harder raids with different mechanics.
Like he’s an early adopter of C+ or something.

also turtles are cool

Never forget the Cosby Lounge. And the milk in the fridge there.

I wish all these people who wanted hard 40 man content would have played wildstar maybe I wouldn’t be the only person on these forums to have cleared Data Systems. It’s almost like hard 40 man content is a bad idea =.

I know the answer bestie, it’s because blizzard keeps designing their games around a dogsh*t seasonal model where you run on a hamster wheel until the next patch comes out

Not a coincidence as soon as they announced they were stopping content for sod the player count plummeted

Twow obviously doesn’t design like that

I don’t think blizzard knows how to do anything other than treadmill theme park, which is why they can’t design a “forever server” for classic. They would have to keep making up huge characters like Arthas for example which you end up killing in the story anyways.

Their forever server is retail technically

its not so much a forever server but rather the in game systems within the game being designed around temporary power increases

you get t3 in twow, you’re super strong relative to other players, you log out for 6 months, when you log back in you’re every bit as powerful as when you left, this is not the case in retail

Modded games tend to have some replay value.

Something changes from run 1,2,3 and 4. With classic play since 2019…this game is like running around a track. for the 40000 lap.

I guess you could make a level 1 undead and burn mad time to rush to level 1 orc start to spice it up. Why? becomes a question to ask there though.

Wow officials…all that changes is concatenations in text strings. Legion did throw in some “easter egg” code for DH’s…but that is about all I recall off top my head.

PLease (looks up race from table, fills in race name concatenation code) ork, help me. My sheep has run amuck.
