I can’t misdirect to tank or my pet if they or I are using one of these.
Was that supposed to happen?
I can’t misdirect to tank or my pet if they or I are using one of these.
Was that supposed to happen?
It’s been like that.
Yes it is.
When I queue for pug content I always use a silencer because whilst MD can be useful, more often than not I find hunters and rogues using MD and pulling additional packs. Even if I can handle the additional packs, often times I find them pulling too much and people dying, so if they want to pull more they can be the first ones dead.
Same goes for priests, pull more, life grip the tank into a new pack and then fade to remove all aggro. And now dragons flying the tank into a pack. It’s forcing tanks to do something they don’t want to do and believe it or not, is against the ToS.
Plus I don’t know you, I don’t know if you are doing it with malicious intent or genuinely trying to do the right thing, like MD a pack of enemies that are attacking the healer onto the tank, or life grip the tank into a safer place, those are good, but how often do people actually do this kind of thing?
I can’t count the amount of times I have been moved against my will while doing something on purpose that the healer thinks is wrong only to have to move back to where I was, like when I LOS the enemies to group them up, I have at times had a priest move me somewhere else and by the time I move back to try and group the enemies the DPS have aggro and are starting to die, it’s frustrating.
blame priests.
Against the TOS? Sorry that’s laughable it’s a spell blizzard created that people use. By this logic a DK death gripping me in pvp is against TOS. We use these abilities cause we think it might help.

Yeh, against the ToS.
If I was constantly life gripping you into enemy packs to ‘speed up’ the dungeon and you didn’t want to, that is engaging in conduct intended to disrupt or diminish the game experience for you.
If they are running Twin Guardian, that is actually a perfectly valid tactic. A +30% total HP shield to start to pull never hurt anyone.
Well like I said then by this logic death knights are breaking tos all the time. I think you need to get over it use the neural silencer if you want but it’s not breaking tos.
key word is unreasonable. In the same vein I could say you pulling mobs to slow is an attempt to disrupt or diminish the rest of the parties gameplay experience.
For a first planned pull it works well, or if the dragon drops the tank into the pack that they already pulled sure, but when the dragon or priest is dragging the tank around the map into additional packs, no that’s 100% against the ToS
Yeh actually it is, if a DK is dragging new packs into the current one and forcing the tank to do something they don’t want, that’s definitely against the TOS.
And what if the tank is new and can’t go fast? What if they can’t handle the pulls and the group ends up wiping? Is it the tank to blame or the person trying to speed up the dungeon by being a troll? In this case the ToS would favour the person who is going slow.
some priest do it to troll.
Some hunters md to troll
Yeah, i was just trying to get the mobs off me. I didn’t know misdirect was such a toxic thing.
