I started netherwing quest chain for some preraid stuff, and last quest I could get was on neutral, and needed one quest after for some item. I couldn’t see the mobs there, and wasn’t offered next quest, so I thought, not available post neutral yet, but then I saw like 4-5 Alliance players killing phased mobs, ones I need for next quest.
Is netherwing chain available or not?
Its not available. Netherwing Drake questline was added in 2.1 with black temple. Kinda weird we can get neutral now, though.
How are people doing the post neutral questline then?

They are. I saw 4-5 alliance players beating invisible mobs there, 1 of them even dying.
Somehow they’ve got that area phased in 2nd part of questline.

As far as I can remember you could always start it, but the next phase wasn’t offered til black temple AND you had an epic flyer
Guess it’s a bug, they somehow got through part 2.

there’s a quest to kill a dragon out there that offers a great helm. it’s not part of the netherwing stuff
They were killing those skinny alien mobs, not dragon.
And I couldn’t see them, which means phased.

Troublingly, I completed several quests and I’m on the group quest (Zuluhed the Whacked) and I don’t even see Netherwing as a faction in my character info. Is this even in the game yet? I should have received some rep from the first 4-5 quests right?
You recieve all the rep to go to neutral (42k) in the last quest of that chain.
Sadly it seems that all we can achieve is neutral. That is it.
Isn’t that to do with the questline for the second sight helms and the rest of the quest picks up, as people said, when bt comes? And as also said by others, you NEED the quest item that fills your head slot instead of your normal armour equipped to see the mobs.
Similar from memory, you need to kill Al’ar in TK wearing an arakkoa costume that i think replaced your head for an SMV questline.
Those could be ghosts that you can see only with goggles, it’s another questline
