I’ve been farming Netherwing rep for about a week now. I have yet to see a single Netherwing Egg. I read online that people would see 3-10 per day when doing their dailies.
I get them sometimes from mobs or ore, but I never see them on the ground.
Is it possible that since one of the last patches, they have been bugged visually?
I even turned off all of my addons.
If someone can confirm they’ve seen them ON THE GROUND (and not during the quest that has you find them), I’d greatly appreciate it.
Also, I never see anyone else in the area, let alone farming the rep. Of course it’s possible they are hopping on right before me, but it still seems highly unlikely that for a week I wouldn’t just randomly get lucky.
I’m currently grinding this rep too, and I consistently see them at their spawn points (between 1-3 per run)
I’ve not noticed anything out of the ordinary
yeah, i was wrong. i finally logged on at a diff time and caught someone sniping them, but I was able to see and gather a few. So apparently this whole time someone was grabbing all of them just before I started my dailies.
It is a symptom of the cross realm zoning we have now. At any given time there is probably not enough people in all of WoW visiting SMV to cause a second SMV to spawn, so the total universe supply of Eggs is just the ones in your current phase. So it is easy to be right behind the one other guy who is grinding it.
