Sooo…what happened to the other skin colors? The green and the black skins looked pretty cool and when 10.2 dropped, they were locked under centaur rep of all things and now it’s not there anymore. Did I miss something?

The customisations locked behind old faction renown were placeholders. We don’t know what they’re actually locked behind.

I keep getting random netherdrake option glyphs from loot bags but it would be nice if I could get the other scale colors. At least they don’t look as goofy as the faerie dragon that has barely any options to it.

Nope and there were other customization options that were seemingly cut as well like the cheek spikes.

You can still get the cheek spike through an inscriptionist.

If I had to guess they’ll probably be from the upcoming Outland cup, since we got the Teal Velocidrake Scales from Kalimdor, and the Yellow Noodle Drake Scales from EK cup.

was that some sort of quest/achiev reward or would you get them from a vendor? I saw no scale colors at the vendor on the ptr (subject to change, I know, but still)
They should just make it so the skin colors are locked behind the old BC rep grind. Most people have done it already and it rewards the people that already got all the colors of the old mounts.

yeah i noticed they were missing as well, no idea why they removed them as that black scale one was quite nice. Odd choice being limited to purple or what blue I guess it is?
I think there was an issue with the sources showing the wrong source, and for whatever reason, instead of showing the proper source they just said “you can’t see any Netherwing customization you don’t already have.” Which honesty, pretty annoying, how am I to know I have all the customizations or not if I can’t see what all there is?
I didn’t even know there was a glyph for the chin tendrils you see on the OG Netherdrake until I saw someone in a different forum post talk about it.
There’s an add-on called Manuscript Journal, I highly recommend it if you’re interested in collecting them all

They will probably add it in the next content dump… but yeah I hope they add the other colors soon.
Sadly that’d require them to acknowledge and respect them an old rep grind and they’d never do that.
