Nether Poral - We all want it looked into a changed, but how?

I want to give my idea and would like to hear others ideas.

My Nether Portal: Instant cast, 40 yard range, 5 minute cooldown, 20 second duration. “Tear open a portal to the twisting nether for 20 seconds. Every second you command a demon from the nether to come out and fight for you.”

My Nether Portal would be a long cooldown, but overtuned. A portal that players in PvP would want to run away from.

I’d tack on a few things to that.

  1. No small fry, Vilefiend and up only.
  2. 1 additional demon per soul shard spent during NP.
  3. Have it reset Tyrant’s CD once it ends.

If the cooldown is that long, then it has to be well worth the cast.

EDIT: remove it as a talent to prevent it from being the de-facto choice too, replace it with a Mastery pumping Dark Soul, and tune SS up a bit more. This way we get to pick and choose between giant Demon Bolts, Ronnie Coleman as a Tyrant, or an army of slightly stronger demons.

Personally I’d like it to just summon per shard used, and then every minute between its CD, and every minute auto spawn Half of the demons from your last portal, up until the CD resets.
