I've tried using this spell a few times, maybe it's just me, but I can't find a use for it. It feels like it runs out before I can properly build enough shards to spend them. Is this talent useless or am I missing some sort of 'sequence' to use it right? Does it summon one demon for every one shard? Cause I use Hand of Gul'dan and don't see a ton of demons coming out or anything. XD I just use Sacrificed Souls for now in Nether Portal's place, which sucks, cause the tooltip makes it sound awesome.
Nether Portal is a garbage talent, don't use it.

Nether portal is the worst of the level 100 talents for dps scenarios.
Now if you are using it for fun, by all means use it.
I feel it should just be a demo cd and not a talent.

Yeah, that would be cool tbh, I don't see any other reason to drop SS to pick the other talents.
Netherportal is more of flavor CD tbh.
It's for burst, it's a 3minute CD, and the demons it summons require huge setup, on top of them not being duration extended by tyrant.
It's probably one of, if not the weakest burst CD any class has, it looks awesome, but mechanically it's painful to use, hard to master, and is mediocre damage.
