I’ve been tricked by Hollywood and Netflix so many times that I have to watch reviews first.
So far they haven’t been good so I’ll probably give it a pass.

As a big-time DMC fan, I thought it was fine.
It’s all a thinly veiled metaphor for post 9/11 USA, and I think DMC is a bad vehicle for a story like that. Resident Evil would even make more sense.
But as its own bit of media, it’s an amusing way to waste time, just don’t expect high art.
Honestly, I prefer the Studio Madhouse anime from way back when; it’s a much better character piece.

I liked it. Netflix just announced that its getting a Season 2. Since the season 1 ends on a cliffhanger, that was good news.
