It’s a minor issue but one I feel is worth talking about in hopes it is avoided in the future. Some of the icons in the new raid are unclear what they are. First being the weapon icons. The weapon models themselves look amazing in-game however the weapon icons all focus on the hilts of the weapon so some of the weapons are hard to tell what they are. Which on its own isn’t that bad on its own but it isn’t compounded into the second issue.
The second issue being all tier icons in Nerub-ar which all use the same exact icons as the weapons that drop in the same raid which can lead to some (short lived of course) confusion when items first drop.
Tier icons in the last few years have been different colors of a gem or seed so it was distinct from other items in the raid which I felt was better. Of course I’d much prefer if we went back to the generic glove/helm/chest/shoulder/leg icons from earlier expansions for example Leggings of the Wayward Conqueror and think it’d be best if those icons were upres’d and just used for every raid going forward for tier token item for visual clarity.
Again a minor issue but as icons are meant to show a quick visual image of what an item is supposed to be I feel the weapon/tier icons missed the mark.
