So because Limit and Method couldn’t down Queen Azshara in one week, it appears it is time for Blizzard to nerf the boss into the ground. It doesn’t matter that they are undergeared for the hardest boss currently in the game on the hardest difficulty.
We are truly in the age of content needing to be completed day one for Blizzard to be happy.
Every group is wiping at the same exact part consistently, with wide gear differences. It’s obvious that this portion of the fight is a bit overtuned, or every group doing it wouldn’t be wiping on it regardless of the kind of gear they have.
So only the 0.0001% of people who have done the fight are entitled to an opinion?
So they’ve put in enough time to say “I give up, make it easier”? They can come back when they have better gear if they want to. Nobody is forcing them to do it with their current gear. It will get easier without Blizzard intervening.
Imagine thinking the achievements on one of my characters formulates enough of an opinion of my entirety as a player. I bet you stare at the io of every player and think anyone below 1500 is a horrible human being too.
Pretty much this. Blizz has looked at the data and said “hey, we made this too tight”. I mean, Method was using a TWO HEALER setup to try and make the old enrage timers and STILL failing… If that doesn’t SCREAM “overtuned”, what does?
my point is they’ve put in way more than a ‘day’ into things. Sometimes fights are overtuned, or did you think when C’thun was mathematically impossible to beat it was just ‘that epicly hard’.
I’m not making any opinion on you as a player in your entirety. Rather I’m invalidating your opinion of cutting edge content since you don’t do it. As far as IO goes, I don’t spend a lot of time worrying about it. I do keystones with my guild.
I feel like it’s better for them to nerf it early than to nerf it later and diminish the accomplishments of those that have already beat it. Chances are, if the top guilds in the world are struggling this much it would be near impossible for average mythic raiders.
Generally Blizzard has trouble balancing content on the top end. Their internal policy is that they would rather release content that’s overtuned and nerf it later, than to release content that’s undertuned and have to buff it.
I’m aware and I much prefer that. It feels even worse when something is easy, a bunch of people do it, and then it gets made harder for those that didn’t do it soon enough (like Fabious).
I think there are a few bugs with the fight, as well, that need to be addressed. Phases strangely overlap or fail to occur if mobs are killed too quickly.
I don’t know if this is an issue in mythic, but I’ve certainly seen it in normal.
Why does it effect you if the top 0.0001% of players have an easier time dealing with Mythic Azshara? Are you somehow going to lose out on something once the world first race is over?
