I could be wrong, but I don’t think the OP meant for this to be a serious post and everyone is taking it very seriously :stuck_out_tongue:

But regardless, a warlock played in the right hands is definitely a force to be reckoned with and even an undead rogue can get destroyed if they come up against a good warlock who knows their class well. I never had issues with rogues, or any other class for that matter on my human warlock back in Vanilla.

The only class that gave me issues were beast mastery hunters because their pet will just tear right through you. It took me some time but I learned how to beat them later on by dueling a friend who mained a hunter.

The P servers have had dueling tournaments multiple times with Warlocks winning repeatedly.

They’re the God 1v1 class, and those tournaments even banned Soul Link because of how ridiculous it is.

Definitely, but my original point was that Warlocks are the God 1v1 class.

Very different than how functional they are in group PvP

25 years as a Blizzard gamer. Anyone who thinks they won’t tinker with class balance either doesn’t know this company very well or is incredibly naive.

No, that would be undead shadow priests with devouring plague.

Warlocks weren’t great at 1v1 pvp until TBC. They had numerous counters in classic.

LOL. Music to my ears. After BC I found PvPing on a lock exceedingly difficult. Vanilla was my all-time favorite time with my lock. Fear Dot. Horror Dot. Dot. Dot. LOL you die. Mwhahahahahahaha

I chose orc specifically so i wouldn’t have to deal with stun lock. Was human back then and hated undead rogues with a passion.

I only managed to have 4 dots (Curse of agony, corruption, immolate, siphon life)
