It existing and being seen isn’t the problem. It’s jsut that it can be ported into places that’s annoying.
Like I do have to agree with the post, I q into so many clown eles rn that just put it down, I throw a starsurge at it, low roll my hit and it lives with 1 hp, teleports to narnia and then comes back and bangs my healer 100-0. It’s very unfun to play against.
Just let me deal with eles doing 12k lava bursts with ascendence.
some people pretend vesper is this ultra big brain setup that can only beat unaware players and it’s prob one of the most cringe delusions out there
it’s obviously a braindead a scripted 2.5 global set up but you can ABSOLUTELY beat aware teams that are ready for it that you shouldn’t even ever queue into while playing it regardless
He’s talking about Dewoverload. He mainly streams vesper one shots with zilea, usually with boomy or destro third.
Just stream snipe the totem like Remi does.

Fixed that for you. I know it’s hard to acknowledge busted aspects of your class especially when destro and sin rogues currently exist but vespers dumb and shouldn’t be in the game. It’s totally possible to lose to it despite the set up not even being good because of rng or a second of carelessness.
Trust me I can see the totem but I have 0 viable ways of killing it

I think id rather die from vesper totem than ML immune to cc and kicks for 80% of the game
That shiz did 110K damage in less than a second , after we called out “hey this guy might 1 shots” as the gates opened vs a fully geared warlock who pre-sac’d it.
Anyone on this post saying “download WA” is literally coping so hard to keep their vesper intact. Y’all sound like mlx players who say resolve is fine…

Sure, but it’s easier to get value off vesper than it is to deal with it, especially if you’re playing vesper and most people haven’t played into it very much.
I imagine the only reason it hasn’t gotten some fat 50% nerf is because so few people play it.
But that didn’t stop them from nerfing prot so I don’t know.
Perhaps only because some don’t know about it. But I find sin/sub rogue, frost/fire mage, destro lock, arms warr, surv hunter, unholy DK, DH etc easier to get value out of.
Vesper to me is more like a Deathbolt cheese. It feels like a one trick pony that works much better if your opponent doesn’t know about it.
Yeah, and nobody does. If they do they still don’t know how to deal with it.
I could see the frustration with it, but I think that’s a stretch. Anytime someone is unaware of their opponents abilities, their chances of losing are significantly higher.
I’m not saying Vesper totem is totally cool and normal, I’m just pointing out it’s in line with this terrible meta.
