Nerf to hell the guardian druid

Naaah Jugga is going to show me how’s it done . I completely agree I am not a good player and I am most willing to learn from her.

I don’t think anyone can 1v1 a guardian druid, but Jugga is probably suggesting its not too bad to deal with.

You might not lose to a guardian druid, but you certainly can’t kill them alone.

His scenario was 1v3…

Oh, well then just blast that guardian.

Step 1) make sure players have abilities key bound
Step 2) use CC wisely, not like many random players who throw them out like it’s confetti on New Year’s

Can’t hex or poly, can’t snare or root . Looks like a lot of CC don’t work !!

Okay I give you that one. Fear works, stuns work, disorients. Stuns also happen to be the worst offender anyway. Why poly one toon to heal them?

Because the duration of a hex or poly is enough to spin the flag

Same with fear into stun.

So now I need a DPS class with fear ability …

DH priest warlock warrior all have one

Yes in a BG you need a group to win

Wow

You don’t have the class skill set to take a node from most any spec druid one on one. Forms take away your hex and your totem stun isn’t long enough duration. You have a hell of a knockback but a ranged spell can still keep them in the game unelss it is a elevated node like LM, BE or MT.

That isn’t a knock on you as an individual it is just a limitation to your class. You bring different tools to the table. Soloing Flag Nodes one on one just isn’t one of them for the average player.

Basically what you are wanting is to be able to walk up to a flag and just gib the defender down without a fight and cap the node. Not many classes can do that against experienced defenders.

Your beef isn’t with a Guardian Druid, it is with the Shaman Class design.

Actually I can take the flag from almost any class 1-1

Get them to blow trinket with lasso , drop grounding and hex . Take flag.

Guardians do give me extra trouble . But frankly I am not the only person complaining about them . Almost all DPS classes have issues with them .

Says the Dk! Blood dks are so annoying to kill and I often see them higher than some healers in bgs for most healing done. Now THAT’S broken.

It really is a new year… I agree with something you say! :scream:

This is probably true but your odds most likely decrease when not facing a pug/yolo.

This would never work against any class with a pet. ie Lock/Frost Mage/Hunter/Balance Druid (Treants). Most organized teams have pet classes sitting bases for a reason.

You are not the only person complaining about them. Almost all DPS classes have issues with them but not because they can’t cap a node against them solo. You are projecting your own limitation and calling for nerfs/buffs to the “whipping boy” topic on the forums because it the current trend.

Correct … But Hunters and Mage I can kill. Locks are hard , druids are again hard but atleast the 2 DPS specs I can try to kill, guardian I can’t kill and can’t CC. So basically screwed .

It’s certainly possible that because I am playing a class which is even more handicapped against bears I feel more helpless than other DPS.

I have done so many times. Incarn lucid dream and just blast them. Their damage tickles and their healing can’t keep up because they can’t mitigate magic damage.

Guardian druids aren’t op on their own. The thing that is good about them is they lower the damage everyone around them takes but that pvp talent has a synergy with brambles putting it on all teammates affected by the lowered damage taken. Brambles shows as a damage reflects so it counts on the healing board but isn’t actually healing. It is all inflated numbers.

Only melee will have a tough time 1v1 vs a guardian.

I don’t know … it was not such a concern for me earlier but now with the inflated health pools , it’s really distracting and annoying when I see bear tanks in the opposing team.
