It if completely out of freaking control in battlegrounds right now. There is no skill involved, just stun and burst whoever you want down before they can even respond.
This is not even remotely balanced and I feel Blizzard needs severely nerf Sub’s ability to burst.

It isn’t bad in pve it’s just not as broken as before
Then give it better pve throughput. There is currently no counter play options to subtlety’s burst right now and I don’t consider someone being able to instant 100-0 with no chance of response any kind of fun or fair play.

Not nerf, increase our ability to respond. Increase turtle mitigation and concussive shot duration. Never nerf the strong, buff the weak

It’s not just sub. Convoke, Wild Hunt, Combustion burst is high. I prefer a faster game, we just need the tools to respond

what you’re asking is something that they refuse to fix and this is basically set for the entire expansion…
we’re in for a burst meta at least for the first 6 months or until 9.1 if they even want to do changes… to me stacking versatility doesnt cut it but it’s another story in arena for sure.

Pvp in wow will never be good or balanced. One class will always dominate for way too long.
If you want good pvp, go to a different game. It will never be here.
There are other classes much stronger than rogues right now.
Roll a ret paladin, it’s the sub rogues natural predator.
Rogues are so insanely squishy outside their burst window that nerfing them without some sort of compensation would kill the spec.

what do you mean by this? Sub was literally the bottom spec all of BFA in raid and was barely middle of the pack in legion. You can go check wow log rankings even now to see this.
Use your PVP trinket to break the 84 second kidney shot and they don’t have a prayer of beating you.
The problem with Fotm is that they’re temporary. You’re going to dedicate yourself to that rogue, then it’ll be nerfed.
I’ve seen this quite a few times with Balance Druids. There will be brief periods where they’re everywhere, but as soon as they’re nerfed (like with what’s likely to happen to Convoke), people will move to the next OP class and Balance will go back to being mostly used by botters for farming.
