I noticed your comment in the UHDK thread. Since I have you all alone = where do you see unholy in this next patch?
My concerns are survivability and burst damage in comparison with our overlords (War/WW/Feral). I am asking since I am a LFG scrub and want to be able to get into games - so unfortunately “play what you like” is only fun when you can actually … play.
Unholy will still be the weakest melee but has an anti caster niche. The burst damage is good but the sustain will be very high. Unholy tsg will be more than viable in 3s and unholy/rdru and unholy/priest will be more than viable in 2s
SCK isn’t the problem, don’t get me wrong it’s overtuned and does bonkers damage but so do all the other abilities, I think WW just needs a flat dam nerf to dps during images.
Hell, they could just go middle-ground and not delete the talent wholesale, keep the (admittedly pretty sweet) free SCK proc, but can the damage. Then buff FoF or base MotC % to compensate for the loss in AoE.
Yeah, the people acting like WW won’t still 100-0 them through wall are delusional. This “nerf” also comes with a buff, with this change:
Spinning Crane Kick (Rank 2) now increases Spinning Crane Kick’s damage by 18% (was 15%) for each unique target struck with Blackout Kick, Tiger Palm and Rising Sun Kick in the last 20 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times (was 6).
Bonedust isn’t being nerfed in 9.1.5. They fix the crit bug so it can crit now, then lower its dmg to offset. So you’ll still get one shot by SCK it’ll just be a little less worrisome.
