Wild because they have no mobility and have to tank melee 100% of the time. Almost like they should be tanky.
If they fake you most of the time and blast you with precog, I think that’s just an issue on learn to kick.

You’re right they have no mobility but the amount of insane dmg they do on top of their tankiness puts us to shame
I mean we have mobility, an insane kick. We can spam fear. You can do a lot to disrupt a spriest.
Sure can nerf dam a lil, but if they have to face tank everything and can’t kite, they def need to be tanky lol.

I think spriest damage might need a slight nerf, but you can’t nerf its tanky-ness. It has no mobility to make up for it. The 2 speed boosts it can give itself are purgable as well, it’s big CD is interruptible (along with everything else), if it isn’t tanky it will just die to any melee team because it can’t get away. Fury/Arms Warrior has berserker shout, all specs of shaman have tremor, hunter has fear break, and its fear is dispellable as well if healer doesn’t get hit and that’s spriests main way of getting melee off them.
It has good cc, good defensives and passive tanky-ness which is a good trade off for barely ever moving and having to cast every single ability. Again though might need a very slight damage nerf, maybe depends on its 4 set and how good/bad that is idk.

like 1-2 procs per minute for a 100-200k bolt, which will give like 5 seconds of PI. the 5 % increase to some abilities during PI is good tho
Hunter has a fear break? I don’t think that’s accurate… I know survival and mm don’t maybeeee bm with bestial wrath but I think that’s more of an immunity if they fear into not a fear break and that’s an honor talent if I remember correctly.

Comments like these often come from players who have never played said spec.
Shadow priest although frustrating to face in certain situations is equally frustrating to play in a lot of other situations.
For one , having to hard cast to do damage. Yes precog exists but it is still an extra layer of skill that is added to the spec which alot of others don’t deal with.
Two, lack of mobility isn’t just about survivability, it also affects chasing potential. A sp cannot chase most classes that can run away from it if they choose to, they cannot keep up. Though arenas are often closed spaces with possible triangle formations in wizard cleaves, caster/melee comps are often trickier as u cannot always follow up on an offensive push if u aren’t already in position.
Three, being an immobile + hard casting target dummy is one of the hardest roles to play in arena period. No matter how tuning is, if u are constantly in a state of near-death panic you cannot function as a class. Classes with mobility often forget how strong creating distance is as a form of mitigation, often outweighing many damage reductions.
