NELFs are still the most used race in MDIs for their ability to drop aggro and drop negative effects. The alliance told us all during legion and during the Zul encounter that Belfs should be nerfed because they were useful in niche situations. All the MDI teams are rolling NELFs to abuse their racial for large gains in the MDIs. This is imbalanced. Blizzard should nerf NELFs accordingly using the same logic they used against Belfs and Darkspear Trolls or they should revert the nerfs they did to our horde races.

If a Horde racial could be used to totally negate an affix every time it comes out the Alliance would be up at arms in these forums 24/7.

Shadow Meld is being used to completely drop aggro on the Reaping Affix. Everyone is rolling alliance NELF for this racial. It is totally over powered. Reaping should have true sight and full dungeon aggro range as it was intended to be.

This must be an Alliance player posting on a Horde alt for trolling. We Horde don’t complain about racials. So go back to where you came from spy!

Jeez, one MDI in years my racial turns out to be useful and people are already calling for nerfs.

I understand now why the Horde got a toy that replicated it…surprising that they nerfed that before it could be used to completely eliminate the need to play a Nelf at all :roll_eyes:

Yea seems fair, horde gets a toy with this and it gets nerfed. Meanwhile alliance abuses this non stop in their NELF racial.

everyone’s a NE? really? of my 10 120s, only 2 are NEs - the druid and DH… and that was because they had to be NE (yes, my druid’s old).

The darkspear racial does not let you ignore an entire wave of reaping. This is clearly not intended by blizzard to completely ignore an entire affix that pretty much all MDI players use this racial non stop now. Alliance complained that the Zandalari troll racials were too strong because it lets you ignore mechanics and Blizzard nerfed them at your factions requests.

It is obvious this racial needs to be nerfed or Zandalari trolls need to be buffed again.

No, but the Blood Elf racial was an AoE Silence that got “nerfed” into a mass-purge that allowed Belfs to completely cheese the Zul fight in the last tier.

Our Blood Elf Racial got nerfed.
Our Zandalari Troll Racial got nerfed.
Our Darkspear Troll Racial got nerfed.

No nerfs for the alliance because of Blizzard bias even though the NELF racial is clearly broken.
