Of course it does. Those players that do unsub typically don’t post about it on the forums everyday and continue playing the game while they run out their 12 year subs that they conveniently just bought.

let it be at least 10 times more difficult than what you did in bis gear in the legion at the end of the patch, than another garbage mode where 99 percent of casual players, performing a task with a bunch of errors and rejoice at the next useless award, which indicates the closure of the content in which everyone lowskill gets what he wants just by coming (and then thinking that it means at least something)

A tantrum is an outburst of anger. A threat is a statement of intention to cause harm. Neither applies here.
However, I suggest you go look up the word “ultimatum”.
When the new MT had first dropped, the guides were still based on Legion or PTR versions, because no one was aware of the new tuning and how it would affect mechanics. But I was eventually able to figure out my own new strat and don’t know whether or not the guides have been updated at this point.
The whole point of my original post was to start a discussion among the WoW community, not have a bunch of elitists scrutinize me and tell me it’s a skill issue. This is really not about my skills or the rewards at all.
The real issue at hand is the current WoW dev philosophy that catering to the top 1% is somehow going to save WoW.
They want the MT to be much more difficult than it was in Legion to be some kind of prestige thing for super-elite players.

It’s a temper tantrum followed by a threat to leave Blizzard properties. Which, I think, is a large reason that the Blizzard team has ignored this completely.

Mage Tower? That was 2 months ago. I was hoping it would be a necro of somebody who was telling everyone that the mage tower was so easy they did it half asleep on the hardest specs with no gear etc etc, and then someone points out they’ve been banned for piloting LOL
Lets not forget the AOTC that looks suspiciously like a purchase/boost after they “unsubbed”.
why must every single conversation be roped into the real world mentality of the 1%? like way more than 1% beat this challenge, yet people still hold onto the 1% like their lives depend on it. I’m not great at this game and I managed to beat the tower, you’re clearly not great at this game and you beat the tower. All it takes is practice and people are out here acting like blizz insulted their mothers. Get over it man

My guess is they just now completed it and needed a place to tell everyone to git gud. It’s like a rite of passage for the MT basically

No nerfs whatsoever.
Hardcore players who didn’t even attempt the new challenges said that the issue was the fact that the event was time limited, rather than the difficulty, and Blizzard listened to those players and made the event permanent rather than tune difficulty.
In fact, the Frost Mage basic AoE toolkit was nerfed, meaning that they can get fewer Frozen Spheres out when fighting the Twins. Does anyone know if game devs did anything to compensate for this change, or are Frost Mages who didn’t do it in December just SoL now?
By the way, is the Mage Tower Karen (OP) still unsubbed? (No offense, LOL, I agree that some of the new MTs are overtuned and the whole event was poorly implemented.)
