The problem is that its a new Hpal. Just like ret its a huge rework for overall playability and quality of life playing it. For a long time Hpal never really got a lot of changes other than adding Melee wings and changing the mastery goin into legion.
The fundamentals stayed the same for a long time until Shadowlands where they redesigned Infusion of Light removed the reduced cast time from Holy light making hpal hps suffer a lot as well as making huge mana changes to essential abilities like holy shock (it used to cost 9k mana per cast before the new rework which is now 6k) and also was one of the only healers in the game for a long time with no mana regen or mana reduction cds.
This new build favors the old but gold style of hpal where casting is rewarded but only situationally needed. Making them more versatile and able to play aggressively with less push back.
Homie i like that you post but you’re so stubborn it doesnt make sense. Im a hpal main and you can ask any other hpal main out there and theyd said the same thing that the healing is immensely better.

Also ive already played several 3s games where i am restoring 80kmana on average if its a super damp game ive restored 259k
I just played a lobby and got 6/6 wins.
it was a lot more fun to play, the only difference is holy shock and divine plea.
I played hpally since the beginning of time also. I remember when hpally was great good and ugly. Back in MOP days, I beat Cdew, Reckful, Zilia etc. When WOD got released, I didnt really enjoy hpally after that. It went downhill in a huge way. People are saying hpallys are OP but healers are still below where they should be in healing.
Healers are dirt atm and as stubborn as you may think I am, I have played healer since BC, so from my perspective, I have seen the game at its greats and its bads.
Cdew just said on his stream that he thought hpally was heaps OP yesterday however he said its been a struggle today. Like hpally is better than what it was, but its nowhere near OP in my opinion

no, im 1900 in the easy game mode, in the actual hard no comms game mode with super high dampening that favors melee im 2400.

If it was “easy” you’d be higher in it. The fact you’re not says everything.
You act like people don’t que no comms 3s or do so at a higher rating then you do.
It doesn’t but also, bad melee beat bad casters and good casters beat good melee. But you also play spriest which is one of the best casters to play into double melee and you still struggle this hard.

I wanna talk about Hpal and Ret needing to be reverted to before this patch.
The problem with that argument is that means Swole and some others are right that RSS is harder because certain people don’t have the same rating in it? Bad argument, use a different point of attack.

Also i should add, that in said game, i had a hunter doing 4k dps that had no idea what trap was, and a mage doing 9k dps. Im not sure how they were not doing more damage since i was eating all the CC. so theres that.
