They simply don’t die. Due to the changes with the GCD and none of the classes doing enough damage they are juggernauts this expansion and are extremely broken overpowered.
They’re ruining battlegrounds/arenas as they cannot be killed without at least 4-5 on them with coordinated interrupts and crowd control. There has not been a single expansion in this game’s history where healers have been this overpowered.
What compounds this serious, game breaking issue, is the fact that raid trinkets are broken overpowered in pvp. Gear you get from player vs player is NO better and in most circumstances worse than PvE gear. ESPECIALLY trinkets. Mythic healers and heroic healers are simply dominant in casual pvp.
THIS SHOULD NOT BE THE CASE.
In order for pvp to be fun again and not something you do to pass the time out of habit, because you have played this game for almost a decade, one of two things MUST happen.
PvP gear gains resilience again. You do ever increasing amounts of damage to mythic raiders and they get utterly dominated if they dont put in the time to learn how to pvp and get pvp gear.
Healing nerfed by 50% across the board. Healers are balanced to heal RAID groups.
Raid. Groups. Not 10 man battlegrounds. DPS changes over the past two expansions have inadvertently made healers the most broken overpowered they have been in several expansions and anyone playing this game at the moment can attest to that.
Not reading responses because I know i’m right. I’m just hoping that someone at blizzard reads this post and really analyzes the game at the moment. Really takes the time to look into healing in Battle for Azeroth and make appropriate nerfs.

When you end with a statement like that what most will believe is you were pissed off when you wrote this and venting emotionally instead of providing valid evidence or critical thinking.
That said there are many well known imbalances in the game.
However skill can carry you a long way. I personally do very well 1v1 playing both arms and fury. Both are below teir for 1v1 but the average player does not bother to skill cap his class so frequently that will provide me with the win. Maybe you could focus on the same.
Im under no illusion if i run into a healer, monk, DH, Rogue … frankly most other classes that are = skill im going to lose. That is just the state of the game.

I disagree! I think GEAR has ruined BfA PvP. Legion PvP was so much more enjoyable, balanced… FUN. A fresh 110 could be the game changer in legion. In BfA a fresh 120 is a waste of space in PvP. You look at a fresh 120 in BfA and you get honor. Its sad. Leveling (Especially in bgs) is bad enough, reach end game and you find yourself investing about the same amount of time if not more trying to become relevant again.
Healers are needed in PvP, Gear shouldn’t such a contributing factor in an instanced PvP match. Its discouraging and alienating to casual players. Probably why there is a mount sale stuck behind 6 month sub time every few months or so. Almost a full year later and people are still leaving in droves…
Yeah sure buddy. Roll a healer and then die in 3 globals to literally any ret paladin with wings and then call yourself a juggernaut. Healers are weak as ever.
The formula for healers is always to be able to sustain 2 DPS and themselves against 2 other DPS when able to FREECAST. This is why 3v3 Arena is a prolonged thing and isn’t just over in the opener every game.
Healers have the raw throughput to deal with 2 DPS if we don’t have to sit ANY stuns/kicks. If those things are available, we literally can’t live 2 DPS without teammates to peel for us during those windows.
You’re actually so off your rocker it’s succeeded to troll me. A 50% nerf to healing would mean people would literally not even run healers in arena because there’s DPS that would be healing for more than us, and we’d literally die to any DPS solo without them even using cooldowns.
No, you’re seriously wrong. The math very clearly equates to 1 healer per 2 dps. That means 3 healers for a battleground of 10, and that’s exactly what we find in rated battleground comps. Healers aren’t solo healing raids and then just solo healing bgs because they’re so insane, that’s total crap.

Maybe you’re just sinking all your damage into their defensives and playing bad. Maybe your gear just sucks.
There’s something seriously wrong if you’re playing the most overpowered melee class in the game right now and are having trouble killing healers with 5 people and “Coordinated kicks and stuns”. Or more likely, you’re just lying because you don’t like that healers can survive your mongoloid playstyle and you just wish everyone would die to you in 2 globals.
I quit playing both my healers because its already unrewarding enough and you want to nerf them? Life as a healer is already miserable. You gear up as a healer so you can spam heal yourself in bgs and arenas because if you try to actually heal teamates you die. Than you have to carry an entire other gear set with you so when you do world quests or solo play you can switch to another spec so you can get it done.
You have to have thick skin because you get blamed for every loss or not healing enough through other players bad play.
Why are healers really needed in random bgs? A straight dps kill-fest would be fun and the bgs would be quick and snappy. I do ok against healers I just control them on my rogue, keep them busy on themselves.
