Nerf Guardian MT to the Ground

A friend got it in 38 pulls without using legacy stuff, and he doesn’t even main guardian.

There’s just a pretty huge skill gap in the WoW playerbase, that’s all.

Sounds like a skill problem.

There is not elite solo content out there, which is what people want. Who wants to faceroll things, that isn’t any fun.

Also, again I’m saying solo content, as in Torghast, Twisted Corridors Torghast which was meant to be the hard mode version, and then there’s MT.

Everything gets nerfed down to casual level of play or people keep screaming for it to. At first it was Torghast, then because of it having power tied to characters to it it got nerfed. After that they came out with Twisted Corridors to be the hard mode Torghast. That got nerfed, too, because it had a mount tied to it that you could use in the maw and people kept screaming for them to nerf it. They did, and now both Torghast(yes, layer 12 too) and TC are both a joke. This comes out and then people, again, scream for it to be nerfed. This has nothing but a transmog attached to it, no player power, no mount, just a skin and yet people are still screaming for a nerf to it.

Why? Because keep screaming for things to be nerfed over learning how to play better. It is to that point that, instead of thinking “what am I doing wrong” when things mess up…a lot of players think “Alright, who is to blame here?” when it comes to things going wrong, from PvP to raiding to mythic+ and to all other content. With solo content it’s always “blame blizzard for tuning this too hard” when really it honestly is a player issue half of the time. Not to be a troll or anything but in most cases it really is a “git gud” problem/issue, but if you tell people that they get offended and mega hurt. A lot of players, after spending so long on this, have begun completing their Mage Tower Challenges. Some gave up entirely and just wait for nerfs, others keep farming for gear n other things to give them an edge, while others still work on it or have already completed it. It is entirely possible to do it with 0 help from things like Unbridled Fury potions. Is it difficult? Yep, but it’s still able to be completed.

Back to this post, it doesn’t matter that there’s elite content out there for groups, as again there’s plenty more content out there for casual players, too. LFR, Normal, Heroic raiding are all casual friendly. Mythic+ keys from 10 and below are easily casual friendly. PvP is easy up to 1800 for a lot of classes, so you can even say RBGs and Arenas are casual friendly, too. You have Normal, Heroic and Mythic dungeons nonkeystone and other things that are way more friendly. Why does everything have to be tuned, again, towards casual play? The answer is it doesn’t. An argument towards that can be made if it has player power, like legendaries, tied into it like how Torghast got nerfed since you needed to complete it for your leggos, but outside of that exception everything doesn’t nor should it always be tuned towards casuals. It doesn’t matter that you may make up 99% of the game, that does not matter.

The thing that used to make this such an amazing game when it first came out is that it had nothing for the casual playerbase. It was hardcore in every aspect from the amount of time you needed to put in all the way to even the leveling aspect of it, raiding, everything. That’s what made this game so popular when it first came out 17 years ago. Wrath of the Lich King was one of the hardest expansions to play in, especially with the raids. Ulduar had many players stumped, as did IceCrown Citadel.

You absolute sucker, at this point you deserve to be ripped off by Blizz.

Pretty much this in a nutshell.

Give us a mundane boring expansion.
Give us a content drought.
Then give us something awesome!
Only to make that impossible for the majority of the players.

The challenge is what makes it special.

If it weren’t challenging it’d be just another thing.

Like the dozens of legacy raids you can effortlessly farm for mog.

Is it really a content drought for people who don’t engage in endgame/relevant content, though?

True.

There’s also too many posters on this subject who assume their level of skill and their play style represents the majority of players. That’s why we see all these hyperbolic posts claiming “it’s only for the elitist 1%”.

Well yea that do play a role in this MT thing . But how many players tou think has that lvl of skill as the guy who posted .

Holy priest too please.

If people who have never played Guardian druid can beat it, what’s your point?

But is that a valid statement? C’mon think about it. If players that are mythic raid geared are having hella issues… You think some guardian druid noob is going to ace the challenge?

No.

Someone is full of lies.

Perhaps these “mythic raiders” aren’t as good as you think, mmm?

If someone who ONLY mains guardian druid can’t beat it, yet this guy can, does it REALLY need a nerf?

Do you honestly want a answer or just messing around ? Because the answer have been said 100s of times when these type of posts are linked :frowning:
