As it stands it costs over 18400 motes to make all the mounts and pets. Let’s get number under 10000.

Increase drop rates on all reagants for pets/mounts as well, especially from the Olea cache. Reduce the cache price from 700 cyphers to like 200 cyphers as well.

As a once avid collector, this current system has resulted in me just giving up, as it stands now i have the lattice and other items for maybe half a dozen different mounts and pets (without even deliberately farming them) but i have very few genisis motes and i don’t acquire enough through normal gameplay.

I have built quite a few of the mounts already but I can totally agree that they should reduce to costs needed, make the other reagents easier to obtain, etc. because it’s annoying, slow and a total grindfest and that’s on top of all the other grindfests already in the game this xpac.

Same. I don’t want to even start. The past few expansions has just been getting the gimme mounts or the one’s I like. Trying to catch em all is a something I just gave up on.

I’ve basically been forced to prioritize what ones I want, because there’s no way in Fel I’m going to farm that many motes and other various materials. Could I? Sure. Do I want to? Absolutely not. Once I have my shiny snail and spider mounts I will be on my way.

Would be nice if they at least dropped in decent chunks from the raid bosses or something.
Honestly contemplating using seals from the vault to get motes instead of getting gear…
Being exalted (or close enough to it that I don’t need to push) and having better gear than all the rewards there is really no point in me doing that content anymore yet I like 4 mounts out of the…10? 12? And not a single one of the god knows how many pets.

Your suggestion punishes people like me who have already crafted 30+ of the mounts/pets, as with the change, we’d have had enough for all of them if we had waited.

This has been exactly my experience as well. The rare drops are bad enough to get and require dedicated grind days. But the motes should have been aquirable in sufficient amounts through regular gameplay. Instead everyone has to basically exploit the devourer hyper spawn point in order to obtain enough motes. And that’s without mentioning the number of motes required to also get the pets…

Because you get Flux doing anything in ZM and it’d be a nice trade off.
I REALLY hate how I wasn’t earning any motes because I didn’t advance that far into my pocopoc until I was Revered…
Why would I need to advance to loot these motes? I could see they would be a reagent used for things even if I didn’t know for what…

I’m 0/24 on the tools from Lihuvim, I still need 2 of them.
I’m so burnt out of that wing of LFR that I can’t keep doing it.
I’d say you deserve a refund at least, but a buff to the drops would work (even though some may have the same issue with having to do this with a low drop rate prior to a buff).

Fun fact. I’ve on only done the first LFR wing once, which I got so bored in I fell asleep and got booted. So far I haven’t been able to get any of the raid mats especially since the Olea cache drop rates are ridiculously low. I have obtained all the non-raid mounts though.
Also, just a note, if you get 3 slots in your great vault and choose the tokens, you can exchange 1 token for 25 motes, so 150 motes for 6 tokens. So if you hate yourself and do LFR/M+ on multiple toons each week, it’s a quick way for motes.
