Needs some help in how to counter monks

well i don’t know what to watch out from
i feel when ever am fighting it , that am always under pressure with sudden health drop , like ( ok am at 45% its all good ) then Boom am dead

i know am missing something here when to run and when to trade defensive cd

thanks in advance

best advice i can give you is to save disengage/binding shot when he pops storm earth and fire oh and scare beast on xuen works like a charm too. Dont be afraid to freeze trap him aswell on his go (usually when they pop bonedust brew/SEF/xuen) - also communication with your healer is key on his go

As SV? I’m not sure. Maybe double up on Craven/FD. When you hear the roar from Xuen, know that you’re about to get leg swept. Be ready with trinket, feign, WC and then DE? That’s my best guess. MM has more tools to deal with them built into the kit.

As Phyzick mentioned, just try your best to avoid the bulk of his dmg when he pops images and Xuen. Outside of that, he’s not very threatening and you can counterpressure quite easily. You can also try and use your tar trap + steel trap (seeing that you’re survival) to slow the monk and his images/Xuen to get away if your healer is ccd or you think your healer can’t keep up with the dmg. It’s generally always best to try and avoid most of their dmg during that time needless to say. WWs are one of the toughest 2s classes to play against naturally nowadays, so I wouldn’t sweat it if you’re having a difficulty vsing it. Just gotta look for windows where you can be elusive if possible and try your best to counterpressure them on their cd downtime.

keep him slow 100% of the game. trade disengage, freedom ONLY with his rolls or dragon kick. if u dont kite him you lose. Save trink for leg stun with his Cd’s running

The proverbial “GIT GUD”

wow didn’t think of scare beast
thanks buddy it helped a lot

i see , was not treating them seriously enough
thought their dmg is negligible in comparison to the monk him self

thanks soo much for the detailed explanation , i did got the idea how to deal with him better even tho i will come to re reading every time i fight one

as survival keeping monk slowed 100% is challenging need to go in slow him then get out
but i see your point , thanks buddy

roll blood dk. grip them off your heal every time they try to burst, every time they roll back, grip them again.

wish it’s that easy
or get dk with me for easy life lol

i assumed u were BM. have you watched this?

its like the best guide for a class ive ever seen, there’s a game where he illustrates every single action he makes against a ww/rsham team, and it’s really a lot more complex than i imagined lol

Definitely check out Bicmex’s survival guide that was posted here. Big thing you need to do is watch for Bonedust Brew. Save feign death to remove the debuff and that should help save you from getting 100-0 randomly during that time. Save disengage or harpoon to bail out of SEF. Work with your healer to help mitigate sweep goes. If you healer is CCed, then popping trinket isn’t a bad idea. Explosive trap can be good again images (when it works) as well. Use steel trap and tar trap to slow down the monk or to get them to burn freedom. Trade RoS and turtle early rather then when your below 50%. This will help keep momentum rather then play catch up.
