You actually are locked out of tier rolls if you have norm or higher.
Oddly enough the transmog is still unique for l f r… In essence nothing has changed except for now you have to be creative to roll
or I just leave that piece I am after in the bank…

Wont work, the game knows what you have in your bags and bank too…its in the patch notes…
Lower ILVL can still be an upgrade.
Its group loot, as long as they dont have the exact item at that ilvl or higher they can roll.

I don’t really care though, I only ran LFR for the Rasz mount skin… I got it so never again lol.

loot is loot, not gear in my opinion.
There are so many gear sources that can get you gear of LFR level, and with the catalyst you can get set pieces without doing the raid at all. If people are mog collectors they shouldn’t have to pass just because someone else doesn’t feel like getting world event/quest gear. They’re not blocking anyone’s character progression.

I was happy to farm Sandworn Relics and use the Sandworn gear with the infinite catalyst charges to collect the LFR set without having to set foot in LFR during Sepulcher. But now that catalyst charges are much more limited and the only way to get LFR level pieces to mog is from LFR itslef or very low level M+, (the 385 Primal Gear catalyzes into normal), well I will be in LFR rolling on your upgrades for TMog. Don’t hate the player hate the game.
I ran LFR a few weeks ago and I wanted to roll on tier for the transmog set and it wouldn’t let me because my set was a higher ilvl. Really sucked because I like the color of the LFR warrior set but I won’t be able to get it.

Put your higher ilvl tier in void storage and it will hide them from the game and allow you to roll need of the LFR equivalents. You do lose enchants on the void stored gear so be wary.

If you get say heroic you get normal/lfr version of that mog, mythic u get them all
