Hi, I am currently a level 74 fire mage in cata classic who is not sure on what to do next, I am currently question in Zul’Drak and using rdf when I have time I am at ilvl 138 right now and am just lost on what to do, I do these random high xp quests in a zone then go onto the next I’m not sure where to go next or if im doing something wrong or inefficiently.
You seem to be doing everything right, and you’re on the right track!
At 74, Zul’drak is exactly where you should be. Keep questing!
After Zul’drak, at 76 or 77, you will head to Sholazar. If I remember correctly, a quest will appear for you in Dalaran by the Flight Master at level 76 to send you to Sholazar.
After Sholazar, it will be Storm Peaks at 77-78, and finally Icecrown from 78-80.
At 80, you will return to Orgrimmar, where Thrall will set you up to start the Cataclysm zones.

In reality, they’ll probably level to 80 with two of those zones. OP if you open the map, it should tell you the level ranges of each zone. 138 does sound a bit low so you probably want to finish the better part of the 100 quests in Zul’Drak for the gear rewards before moving on.
