I made a post about pvp changes this game needed but I was half trolling I’m serious this time
S tier: delete resolve , nerf all 3 rogue specs into ground , nerf destro tier set bonuses into the dirt. Rez legendary disabled in rated pvp
A tier: nerf hunter tier set and craven should be a 30-45 sec cd not 15 nerf ferals and fury warrs set bonus. Nerf chain harvest cd
Ok these are the most important changes that aren’t really debatable everything else is

B tier: make rsham earthern totem a strong cd like it was in legion. Buff the initial heal from ascendence by 150% in pvp. Revert disc priest radiance and spell damage nerfs. Mw cacoon should be 1:30cd soothing mist should be off global and revival should be a 1 min cd. Fortifying brew cd cut in half.(15% dam reduc on 3 min cd wtf?)
C tier: Buff arcane blast arcane barrage and arcane missles. Nerfs to devouring plague and rattling mage reverted. Dstance reduces damage you do by 10%.
Vesper totem damage nerfed lightning bolt and lava burst damage buffed by 10% for ele sham and lava burst has no cooldown for ele sham.

Not sure about this one. The bad thing about ele atm isn’t its damage profile it’s the defensive profile. Their wall needs to be able to be used in stuns and has to be do something other then 40% damage reduction.

Else that have issues staying alive is usually due to not using earth ele properly when there is a gap in the team cd rotation it’s literally a second wall with 30k extra hp. But a free casting ele isn’t a threat you can just ignore ele and kill their teammate
why do people generally just ignore DH and DK and fury war literally the most absurd classes ive ever seen with unavoidable dmg. Actually at this point when theres so many classes that are broken beyond belief they are better off just buffing the sht classes and be done with it
That is something I see quite a lot actually. I see a heap of eles drop fire ele coming out of the gate and usually they die in the opener but when we vs ones who use earth ele on the first go they just seem to not die ever. They still die later though.
I think it’s just that everything is so jacked that it’s kind of hard to point at anything in particular.
Fury ms is high, RA crushing blows are scary plus spam charge, conq banner unslowable plus sprint, Unholy doing 25k dps with abom limb because its conduit and necro legendary haven’t been nerfed in pvp, etc
I feel like if they just made the trinket bonus 1000 more stam and just buffed everyone’s sustain by 10-30% depending on the class we would just sit a perfect meta. It would basically be s1 BFA levels with the healer mana balance.
Yeah, more health to play with is probably the easiest “bandaid” I can think of that doesn’t involve tweaking a dozen specs in various ways, although it could make stuff like warlock and dk more durable.

I feel like there cant be many % damage/healing modifiers left in the game at this point, that it could be viable just to nerf them by 50% and it would be fine.
Gotta clarify which nerfs to devour. None csme with 9.2. Just rattling. Many came before. And u can’t revert all of them or it would be busted.
I wouldn’t care so much about this if it wasn’t for Greater Fade and that flying into the air BS.

I’m not ok with it, I had just gotten used to not doing damage when I see they have it so they ress at 1 health and I just smack them.
But that’s an increasingly difficult thing to do now
This is a good strat against hpriests with no fingers

make baseline classes good again and stop adding gimmicky systems and trinkets that throw balance out the window would be a good design philosophy moving forward
also idk how anyone enjoys set bonuses being active in arena. it’s just another thing to balance around even holinka said it in his interview
