Need to do Return to Lordaeron Quest to Get Access to Old Tirisfal

This is honestly so friggin’ annoying. I just wanted to do the Halloween event to douse the Horde wickerman on fire but on an alt I need to jump through hoops to get the quest finished.

Apparently, the fix for this phasing issue is to do the Return to Lordaeron questline, which is a pain in the butt; there’s the fact that you /can’t/ skip it unless you supposedly do it on both a horde and alliance character, and then in order to finish the quest you need to do the Oribos intro questline.

Why would I level up a whole horde alt I’m never going to use just to get that skip, and just to access Zidormi? Why not offer the skip on all your alliance characters if it’s for an alliance character? Why would they automatically set that phase on a character when they haven’t even gotten the quest? From what I can find, this is the only way to fix this specific phasing issue since it’s a Shadowlands phase (I’m veiled as a forsaken which is a dead give-away) and not a BFA issue.

Ugh.

I just did the BfA intro and nothing else and was able to see Zidormi.

That’s not working for me. I’m, somehow, phased differently from the BFA phase since I get turned to a Forsaken when I fly over there. Did the BFA intro and all that. Didn’t work.

I’m not sure what’s going on then. I did the BfA intro all the way up to where I could choose a zone and it allowed me to see Zidormi and change it back to Cata version of Lordaeron.

Sounds like the whole thing is a buggy mess. :frowning:

I think I’m probably going to go and make a bug report though I have a feeling they won’t bother fixing it.
