Need to change something in 3 years

Hey, everyone!

For three years I have been faced with a choice of three talents:

  1. Onyx Legacy (default now for Scalecommanders)
    Deep Breath’s cooldown is reduced by 1 min.

  2. Font of Magic (I do want to use this talant, but I can’t, because of my Disintegration is main damage spell and it needs Essence Burs from Arcane Vigor talent)
    Your empower spells’ maximum level is increased by 1, and they reach maximum empower level 20% faster.

  3. Arcane Vigor (without this talent, you experience some kind of limitations, very inconvenient)
    Shattering Star grants Essence Burst.

So would be great if you remove Arcane Vigor talent left only Focusing Iris, and will make Shattering Star grants Essence Burst by default, and let my Empowered spells be 25-30% stronger and 20% faster with Font of Magic!

Great idea. I have been skipping font lately, but arcane vigor may not be as important when I get the 4pc.

Out of Dragonrage, Arcance Vigor will always be in demand.

Almost like… talents are supposed to offer competitive choices, not give you everything you want.

If anything, there should be more talents like Font of Magic. Stuff people want but can’t exactly get.

With DB being a huge part of the current rotation, Font considerably improving our empowered spells, and Vigor significantly smoothing out the clunk on low haste prior to 4pc, please show me just one other spec that has anywhere near this level of a choice.

It’s basically choosing your handicap rather than choosing your benefits

I’m saying every spec should have compelling talents that they leave out… instead of stuff like… firestorm. (Which I don’t think is used at all still.)

I like using font in PVP for those extra crispy tip the scale fire breaths.

Land.
Tip the Scales.
“Buenos dias.”
Kaboom!

It’s much better to cast:
Shattering Star>Eternity Surge (Rank 1)>Tip the Scale>Fire Breath… almost x2.5 more damage)

Yep, that was my go-to for a while in Solo Shuffle back when you could end a match seconds after it started before the various changes such as the change to mastery.

Aside from the part where there’s only 1 empower that sees any improvement out of font of magic (spiritbloom), font doesn’t actually improve the casting speed of ranks 1-3. It’s really not a choice.

font of Magic should be in the class tree, in a place you could get it without sacrificing much.
