Need something explained to me about flying in game

I didnt buy dragonflight when it came out because the flying change and just wasnt interested. Bought the war within and am forced through dragon flight. This flying change makes my head hurt.

do i have to unlock some type of achievement to have regular flying on alts i play? like i wanted to remake and play something to do loremaster with but im forced into the flying i do not like. the alt starts at level 10. what level and what achievement if any restores normal flying?

no it isnt in the skill selection in my skill book. it is on my main toon i got to 80 to unlock it in the war within xpac and was my understanding that goes to all my alts…but just for that xpac?

anyone have any info to turn off this flying for all characters i have on this account i play?

You need the Pathfinder achievement for The War Within to use normal flight. It’s almost impossible to not get just from doing the story and exploring the zones.

If you want regular flight in DF, you also need DF Pathfinder. The wording confused me, so there’s both.
