Need some motivation

So I was super hyped for DF, got into the beta and loved it, only played the first zone.

Now Im only 63 and i’m finding the quests kind of boring solo, there is nobody left in the first zone which is sad.

I know I will enjoy it once I hit 70 but now I login do 1-3 quests and logout

not sure what it is? I did get all the dragon glyphs which was fun and the dungeons are fun so far.

anyone else still in the first zone?

Play at your own pace, don’t burn yourself out.

If you are already burnt out now before cap. Take a break doing something else irl that catches your interest and then come back when it’s most comfortable.

ive been playing a lot of Valheim, the new mistlands update came out, but I feel guilty paying for this wow sub.

I feel this FOMO, rush rush rush. I should just not pay attention, it will be there when I get back, thanks for the advice

I just hit the centaur zone

It’s okay to have periods of low motivation. Just do what you feel like doing and take a break if you need to. The urge will eventually come back. Just don’t try to force it because that will lead to burnout. :dracthyr_heart:

This happened to me with WotlK Classic. Leveled 1-70 in the prepatch, but then on launch night I just wasn’t feeling it and barely played.

In my case, the thing that motivated me was: I had a class that I really wanted to play (Holy Paladin) and I wanted to experience all my “first times” (dungeons, raids) while the world was still busy/populated (cause it’s pretty dead now until Phase 2 starts). That and I had nothing better to do at the time…

This motivates me in retail too. I’m eager to see how my fav class(es) feel this expansion with all the new stuff, and want to do the raid with my guild.

I am 70 and still in the 3rd zone! I like you have no motivation to log in.

The leather working alone has me depressed, along with skinning. I even found the masters and its still a HUGE slog.

I barely saw anyone during launch either.

Okay, here’s your motivation. You’re lost, you’re angry in the woods, and no one is here to help you. There’s a witch, and she keeps leaving sh*t outside your door. There’s no one here to help you! She left little trinkets, you took one of them, she ran after us. There’s no one here to help you! We walked for 15 hours today, we ended up in the same place! There’s no one here to help you, that’s your motivation! That’s your motivation!

Honestly, the one reason why I never quest in early-access/beta in any game is because I burn myself out super quickly.

I haven’t been able to level an alt yet because of this, so I get where you’re coming from.

The fact that you pay a monthly fee to play this game should be motivation enough to continue playing.

If that isn’t doing it for you, I’d suggest taking a break from the game.

If you’re burned out, stop. You know how WoW catch up is by its very nature, you honestly won’t miss much if you chill to go play Valheim (fantastic game btw).

Always remember the words of the wise Big Green.

You can win!
You feel great!
You! Can! Do! This!

Turn Warmode on, the thrill keeps you on your toes and the random skirmishes can be fun.

I’m only lvl 63 but have jumped into lvl 70 fights here and there succesfully. Do what you can, pop some CC
