Do you want to craft craven for neck or for chest with tier set? In cupid is venthry still bis? Does tier set matter for mm- it looks a bit strange? Thank you for the advice in advance.
This is my hunter sorry bout the dh lol!!! I just want to buy the leggo for the correct slot…Bc broke - and be running the best setup for cupid cleave if possible ( leggo, tier or no tier, and covenant) for the upcoming future to the best guess. Seems all over the board for mm. I know it will be craven leggo but neck or chest I see people that have it on its chest but that will be a tier piece so I am playing myself with confusion. I don’t know for mm specifically but the other specs you do want Craven in the neck slot that you’re not forced to wear the teir legs as they are itimized terribly. For MM critt/mastery may be good however.
Crit mastery is actually good on mm
I think all hunters will go craven on neck and unity on ring. But you can probably give up a crit haste tier slot for unity, which iirc is shoulders
Editing for correction: give up haste vers tier slot for unity, since you’ll craft that with vers on it anyway
Is venthry better than necro for mm in the double leggo era?
Necro is consistent and controlled burst damage.
Where as Venthyr will probably be slightly higher overall dps, but RNG based on amount of Kill Shot procs.
Real talk I don’t think lower haste is all that bad for Necro MM. I ran it last season to like 2750 using a 25% crit build and it felt beefy during Death Chakrams.
Venthyr didn’t feel great though. Stupid hunter no do math much, but I’m guessing haste can affect dot ticks for KS procs because it felt bleh.
22.23%/11.12% haste break points for extra ticks on flayed for extra chances of proc. Which is why survival and bm do so well with venthyr
Ya the other thing MM as venthyr is supposed to do is abuse Nadia and cancel the haste proc to just have 20% vers and do a fat double tap w/ careful aim and a ks proc

I still feel venthyr mm is superior to necro outside of blessing of summer cheese.
That being said I need to make a cancel euphoria macro with double tap to get max value out of it thanks.

Yeah Venthyr MM is definitely way more consistent imo
So do you cancel the proc immediately or at a certain stack number? I am really considering going venthry but I want to know how to optimize this aura cancellation… can you go more into depth I know the haste buff you speak about but it stacks to 20? I can’t remember exactly but at which point do you cancel the aura? Thanks for the help dilly!
You cancel euphoria, the haste proc that consumes the stacking buff thrill seeker in combat. Can make a WA or TMW for it.
Honestly I just have a cancelaura macro for euphoria in my double tap bind. Yea it’s more optimal to do it solo in case you want to pre-dt and utilitize a few moments of the haste buff to build focus, but it hasn’t really bit me in the butt yet to cut that corner.
Basically make a weak aura or tell me when if you don’t want to watch your buffs to show you stacks and euphoria, dt when ready and unload.
As far as immediately canceling, the best advice I’d give, is avoid canceling for on demand burst and ending up right in a cc. If you’re being ridden by melee with every stun up, you probably want to try to force them to stun asap, or peel em off with a root or partner stun before committing.
If an rmp is killing your partner and you’re not on DR I’d prob find a good position, or fd/camo before committing to avoid ending up in a blind or poly while the buff is up.
Outside of that the timing doesn’t matter, as fatal flaw will always proc after euphoria ends whether it ended it’s duration or was canceled.

Hunter mirrors be like that don’t even sweat those things. For some reason whenever a hunter gets a good play over another, it’s basically over and your momentum can be gone.
Does the cancel euphoria want to be done as surv as well? I would assume Bc of the vers….
