I love my mage but i am having a issue where when i get on my fire spec it makes my game lag and slow way down its odd. my pc is not the best i do meet the min for shadowlands. can anyone suggest some settings for me to use to speed it up?
Not one to suggest potato settings (unless it’s for the lols), but unless you’re streaming, you can turn down a lot of needless settings like sunshafts/shadows/water or view distance as it will slow down your computer. Back when I played on a SEVEN YEAR OLD MacBook (not pro, i wasn’t rich), even with potato settings I remember having lag issues and between 12-15 fps… until I started keeping the camera mostly looking down, and zooming in a bit, less graphics on screen and less aperture for client view could boost my fps up to 18-20.
Nowadays, I’m on an i6 with a 1060 graphics card and can usually push 120-180 fps (depending on realm population and map/instance) with nearly full settings (I set it on 7) and camera panning across and up/down occasionally.
Hey, Gabrïel! Could you include a DxDiag file to check out the system specs? Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:
