Need motivation to level

At level 30, its starting to get a little slow/boring.

Which server/faction and class?

Well, you could hit the top end of a BG bracket and just do a little bit of pvp. I found it to be a nice change from the slog every 10 levels or so.

Knowing what Class, Faction, Server, and zones you’ve already been through would help. I don’t know if you’ve been to Stranglethorn Vale yet, but that place is loaded with stuff to do. I always find it to be a little too hostile myself, but everyone else enjoys it plenty.

Pick up some dungeon quests and run RFK, or maybe start doing SM graveyard or library.

Yep me and RL friend came to play SoM but got to 31 and called it quits. We just dont have the time commitment or the will to slog through 150 hours of leveling.

So, don’t do it.

Classic ain’t for everybody, apparently even buffed XP isn’t enough. People gotta stop treating it like your every day new game.

Sounds like something you would have been fully aware of before you started leveling.

the motivation is supposed to be wanting to get to 60 and play end game raids with your guildies. try joining a real guild, not one of those “zerg guilds” that just accept everybody and have no direction.

I just don’t find this relatable at all. If there’s any reason to play Classic specifically it’s for the process of leveling along with professions on the way.

Well that’s just too bad. This isn’t retail. Leveling is a large part of the game.

Quite the contrary, you can start to farm real stuff while leveling in the 30s and makes lot of gold !

At 32 you can farm elemental earth in Hillsbrad foothill. The drop rate is not great but soon you can switch to Kargath.

This is for Classic Era though, not sure what version you’re playing

it takes about 6 days played to hit 60 if u quest efficiently and do no proffessions/bg’s/pvp/dungeons.

If ur good at grinding and questing U can chop that down to 3-5days played.

@6 days played = 144 hours. If You play 4 hours a day you will be 60 in 36 days. That is 5.15 weeks. That’s casual af. Just don’t be a lazy leveler… speed run dat shhheeeee.

4 hours a day is casual? lol!!!

4 hours a day is 28 hours a week, that is ALMOST a full time job.

4 hours a day lol…I assume you dont have a job, or kids, or a family or do anything outside of WoW…

4 hours a day, this guy lol.

You can look it up but the average gamer plays 6-10 hours a WEEK.

4 hours a day lol

6-10 hours a week is average?
I think the average gamer is being less than truthful.

Yes, studies have been done, go look it up.

With Work, Family, and other hobbies me and my RL friend both play 8-10 hours a week. At the current EXP rate it will take us 4-5 months to hit 60 in classic WoW. So we gave up. Maybe they will increase the EXP and well come back, or maybe next round of servers will have a faster EXP rate and well try again.

Either way, as an AVERAGE gamer, I can’t play SoM…that’s fine, ill go play EQ TLPs, but either way, I think they should raise the EXP rate.

Wow imagine that.

I’m sorry you don’t have a job or family or anything other than WoW to play all day, but the vast majority of paying customers do have those things - and we should cater to them and not to sweaty neck beards
