Need more servers PERIOD!

19 minutes after the reset there is absolutely ZERO fishing pools in Tanaris. I would like to enjoy what the game has to offer to Blizztard. Or do i just need to bot because thats what this game is becoming, just a fing bot fest for people to make money and avoid real work.

having more than 1 server costs money. more money than this small indie company can afford i’m afraid :expressionless:

Do they just default to one layer after every maintenance? lol

Yes. They default to one at reset, more open as people log in.

Just curious, how do you think another server would fix this?

he could reroll on it for one thing :expressionless:

Has absolutely nothing to do with $.

One server always dies. It happens over and over and over and over and over again.

Happened on classic, som, sod, wotlk, all of them.

1 server works perfectly fine and you know that.

doesn’t seem like it :expressionless: we get many complaints here about problems with the root cause being 1 server

Barman shanker? Dead.
Lone wolf and living flame? Dead

It’s clear at this point making more than 1 server of each type is DOA.

They made it absolutely clear… the evidence is there.

The smaller server dies and fades away and ppl demand xfers.

and the bots just wouldn’t because they care so much about his in game experience?

You’re playing fresh, this is the malfunction.

Come play era in peace.

Yep.

Smaller servers do fix “farming” issues. And make new ones.

Like crap AH’s. You can now farm away. Who buys this stuff, though, becomes a new issue.

and support of instanced stuff. Even with RDF, cata arugal alliance complains it is slow. and that removed finding the dungeon people want to run and going to it. its sign up and wait 45 minutes. as tank or healer even. they are waiting for dps sometimes lol.

Retail works off lots of small servers models. Retail has damn near everything x-realm. To include AH. Those 200 noobs who didn’t know better and rolled on game picked new player start server, now see a universal AH.

the only feature they lose on small is mythic raid really. that is realm only. and usually a non issue.

Retail if looking to go mythic raid, you are researching and going to the top servers for it anyway. Usually the mega’s like Illidan, A52, etc.

It’s because SoD sucked after p1.

And one day players will fade off of this too.

Mega servers fix issues that sometimes take a while to see.

See cata. when the player fade hit, the 10K servers were no more.

most cruise at 3K. and some of them ask for mergers even now lol. last I checked the only legit hardship cases I’d say give them free to anywhere is arugal alliance and bloodsail.

most others…are pushing 3k. Healthy enough imo. Grobb…not sure about them. that is 3k on 1.5K split (close anyway) each side. So as a server as a whole its 3k+.

this version next year we see the real deal.

How many were in the waiting for tbc fan club. They would be the ones who stay.

era 4 life…will leave/drop. How many? we find out next year.

Thing is they could’ve done at least 1 more of each server, or hell gave an RPPVP and regular RP server.

Obviously they need more servers. Layers should have been gone months ago.

Megaservers are trash.

Blizzard needs the retail solution in Classic. I do want the game changed as little as possible, but the original design never counted on the game being this monetized. Bots pick everything up so they can sell to players… I’d rather a change so people can just farm themselves. I don’t know what Blizzard gets from bots but it’s gotta be something, because it’s been 5 years since Classic launched in 2019 and they’ve only amplified.

Best you can do is play on a dead server like the one I’m on, Grobbulus. There’s maybe 100ish max active people on the server across both factions and people are pretty chill. Come play with us

Barman shanker was SoM.

And the solution would be exactly this - transfers later on, or merges, clusterings, … whatever. It works in Era … and would have worked even better if Blizz had not been so set on creating only mega-servers.
Layering is a lazy, half-baked solution that creates more problems than it solves.

I hate layers, but let’s not pretend that more servers won’t result in more bots to fill them. New servers won’t have some kind of “no-bots allowed” policy so that people can get their gathering nodes in peace. Bots will just end up with a larger pool (no pun intended) to draw from.
