I have a source on the dev team myself that say otherwise. Like I said it will most likely be an NPC that turns you into the other faction counterpart like the PvP NPC. That way you keep the Horde vs Alliance theme. If they dont do some form of this for 10.0 there wont be an Alliance population left to fight the Horde
Thereâll be a new epic critter faction which consists of playable races including Murlocs, Furbolg and Gnolls.
Horde and Alliance merge to fight the new faction!
We prefer Horde vs. Alliance. The peace between the Horde and the Alliance is boring. 10.0 will revive old hatreds.
you didnt read a dang word I said. NOTHING about having a PVE verson of the PVP Npc thats ALREADY in game would break the theme of Horde vs alliance. You are either trolling or just brain dead.
Know what else is boring? Getting hit with the villain bat because the âHorde must be the bad guysâ
The faction conflict is boring because Blizzard is afraid to shake it up by making alliance the villains or making both sides gray.

Secondly dont say âweâ. You dont speak for all of us. IMO the faction war thing is too 1990s. Its old and tired. Its why Newer MMOs dont have faction barriers. Its one thing hindering the end game atm

yes - but the people behind wow are not talented enough in making a great story which is why most of us want to forget about BfA in the first place.
Blizzard definitely needs to replace their Alliance fanboy/fangirl writing team.
Or just restrict the current team to writing the Alliance half of the story, and hire an actual Horde fanboy/fangirl writing team to write the Horde experience.
Ever since Mists of Pandaria, most of the Horde experience is just having to play an Alliance story written around Alliance characters.
Thereâs more of that in 9.2, btw, in Zereth Mortis. Even Bolvarâs daughter is ordering us around. Thrall doesnât even show up.
Agreed! However, BfA was supposed to be an all out war finally and ended up not so much and the last half yet again was Horde and Alliance to work together. To me, it didnât feel much like the faction war we have been waiting for. It will probably be like the others where Horde and Alliance will just end up working together killing whatever Horde leaves on their own and tries to take over the world.
Which was just false advertising, since from the beginning it was mostly about helping Magni, and the phony war side plot didnât make it past the first year, even.
Even most of the lore content creators are against factions remaining how they currently are now.
It is we the players who make the world PvP super interesting. Come over to Classic if you really need some oldstyle PvP.
