Need Lemix Alliance Monk Race

Hello everyone, I was going to play a Monk during Lemix and figured that I would make one on Alliance just for novelty’s sake.

My original plan was to make an Alliance Pandaren so that I could at least have one Pandaren Monk once we got Forest Trolls in Midnight, but we’ve since seen that “Amani Customizations” actually means Green Darkspear, and the thought of playing one of those lanky Trolls makes me want to throw up.

So since Pandaren are out, I’m split between Draenei, Night Elf and Void (High Elf). What would you guys pick? Mogging as a non-Pandaren Monk seems very hard if you want a more “RP” set, so I really just want to see what you guys are wearing.

As the owner of a billion monks, I don’t necessarily think you can go wrong, but I will say ‘visually’ Night Elves are a strong contender. Them spinning is one of the best I’ve seen.

Second pick would be them drain eyes :eyes:, seeing my hooves spin is also a joy.

Playing around with the animations on a trial character right now. I do have to say, I do think the Heritage Armor works for a Draenei Monk.

Lightforged monk, feels heretical summoning the celestials after giving yourself to the light.

We also fight one during the bfa raid on horde side.

I used to be a Lightforged Monk on Elk as my forum character.

Given monks are generally very clothing ‘light weight’ it gave a chance to show off her beautiful lightforged tatoos.

Why not keep the Pandaren? Then you can have one Panda on each faction to make full use of the color coded Factional Heritage Armor coming soon :smiley:

That is an option, although it feels a little redundant. I will say I do like the Tushui color scheme much better than the Houjin one.

I’d do night elf personally, while I do like Draenei I don’t like how they kick with hooves it looks a bit weird to me

To be fair, we won’t ever know that for sure.

The reality is that Ji acted impulsively while Aysa was still trying to find a solution.

Maybe if they had waited, the Turtle would have died.

Or maybe she would have figured something out and saved the turtle without hurting it with a huge gaping wound caused by heavy explosives.

We can’t know what would have happened because it wasn’t allowed to happen.

Go human and make your own Rock Lee, Sakura, Jackie Chan or Chuck Norris.

Orcs make fantastic looking monks. Especially with the blademaster asthetic from the war beads they put on the trading post a few years back.

Male or female. Maghar or normal, can’t go wrong.

For Alliance, I like draenei. Male, because females make horrendous combat noises. Just transmog to counter-balance how top heavy the model is and they look good. Big pants, big boots, big belt. Small (or no) chest, gloves, shoulder, helm.

And big hair because they have doorknob sized heads

Thats the kind of thinking Tushi get stuck in while people die or things get worse.

Dont be a Tushi pandaren and get stuck thinking of what you should do while shiz goes to fel.

Humans are probably the best to mog.
Nightelves probably one of the better visually.
Gnomes, because it would be funny.
Spacegoat, dem hooves doe.

(Tbh I am probably going to race change to haranir depending on how much I like them on release)

I didn’t make it to 80 on my human but they do look good in anything.

I’ve been looking at Haranir mogs all day on twitter, they be looking amazing. I reckon they’ll get a decent uptake.
