A stack of plates, single plates, napkin holder, sugar shaker, salt and pepper, spice rack, utensils would be nice but I’m not sure how to make them the right size (not too big, not too small), a hanging strip with ladles, spatulas, etc., pots and pans.
I have a kitchen cabinet with two shelves but nothing to put on them. I thought a stack of plates, maybe a small vase of flowers and some pottery would be nice. Just a thought.

Agree 100% with this! We need more odds and ends for kitchens and other rooms.
I’d love it if we got the beautiful Nightborne plates and serving ware from Suramar, in addition to all the Kaldorei cups, glasses, plates, bowls, and utensils you see around Val’sharah.
More ready-made stuff is bound to come at some point, but in the meantime there’s a lot of stuff you can use to fill the gap.
Like spice boxes and condiment shakers can be made out of various fenceposts, barrels, and crates scaled down. People have been using the ubiquitous woolen rug for plates. And there’s a small candle holder that substitutes for hanging pans if you just hide the candle itself in a wall.
There is a small black and white vase (I think it’s from Highmountain), but basically any barrel can be turned into one. The Draenethyst Lantern flipped upside also makes a pretty flower pot.

It’ll happen. I went to (mild) extremes to get the Zocalo Drinks decor and then I bought several of them.
Frankly, I’m torn. Of course, I want a stack of plates and (really) a skillet that is sizzling and looks like it be being used. But I’ve seen so many creative uses of our current stuff by players, obsessive/compulsive to be sure, who have made amazing layouts.
The ultimate challenge if we stick with the creative solutions will be the sheer volume of decor needed to do things. A simple flowerpot can take five items to look nice and nobody wants just one.
As much as I love the creative solutions, I’m the type of player who wants to just place a plate or potted plant and not have to make my own from other objects. Maybe it’s just me but I love so many of the items we already have in game - I just want them for myself (and maybe I’m a little lazy, lol).
I decorated my house with just in game stuff. I also don’t want to make things from other objects. I think my house looks good but I could still use the items I listed above.
