I want my Hunters and Rogues to wear hoods, especially in desert areas, but most of these transmog options are only for cloth wearers. I’m not a fan of transmogging plate items to cloth but I think a simple solution might be to make hooded capes in the back slot that can give the look wanted without having to change any transmog rules.
It opens up lots of other transmog themes. Grim Reaper, Jedi, vampire, and would fit perfectly with Shadow Priests.
It also means you can cover your head without losing your eyewear, as current hoods do now.
As one who owns a cloak, I concur and would like as well to see cloaks in the future that flow over the shoulders like an actual cloak as opposed to the capes of which so many we have.
Would love that. I’d also like them to make some capes bigger / wider. Emphasize them more. Arthas had his cape pinned to either edge of the outside of his shoulders.
Copped it off Medieval Collectibles for like eighty bucks, not counting shipping.
If you got a flat sheet of linen or wool fabric, a sewing kit and a pair of scissors, though, you could make arguably a better cloak than mine and not pay a dime over what you did for the materials. You’d just need to learn how to sew a hem.
Shoot, if you know how to sew and apply yourself you could make some decent dosh converting raw materials into era appropriate clothes. People shell out quite a bit for that stuff; pants, shirts, cloaks and so on all breaking fifty a pop, and, if you can cobble, authentic shoes going up into the hundreds.
