Need help with new hunter name

Hi all,
I am just returning to wow (the new cinematic pulled me back in) and I am very rusty so I am going to roll a dwarf beast mastery hunter and I would love some opinions on what I should name him.

I have saved the names Howitzer, Flintlock, Cabelas and Heavycal. I am also open to other name suggestions as well.

So, you want a dwarf hunter name, and you seem to have a fondness for referencing firearms in the name.

Alright, I will brainstorm for 15 minutes to some Creedence Clearwater Revival (just feeling it today) and will return.

They’re both from the same era with howitzers having possible attestations as far back as 1440.

You’re right. Apologies. I was thinking of something else because I’m a sleep-deprived eejit.

But since they’re considered by definition, “a weapon that falls between a cannon and a mortar,” they’re entirely inappropriate for a BM Hunter, IMO.

Create a dwarf hunter, then look at the surrounds… what are some of the common terms dwarves use. their names are etched in stone or brews. Then add in you crafting skill as to what your char might end up doing. Didn’t take long to create Cooperbrew simply because a cooper is a guy that creates the barrels for ale and wine… So dwarves are easy to name… just reverse words front to back and back to front etc. Just to add, think of using the realm as you last name too… so you could just do a single dwarven first name and use the realm as your last name.

No need to apologize. The air of both of them is totally different. I see where you’re coming from. You can think of a lot of modern wars that made heavy use of howitzers.

I did also missed that they were BM. I’d prefer it for MM. I like to mog big guns.
