Hello I was wondering if someone could help me out with my mouse. I currently use the Razer Naga Trinity and for some reason, randomly when I click both the left and right buttons on my mouse to move my character he stutter steps or freezes. It doesn’t happen all the time and it’s very frustrating because it has gotten me hit my mechanics due to it.
everything works fine on other games so not sure whats going on with moving my WoW character with the mouse. Anyone have a fix for this?
Try a different mouse to see if it’s the mouse or if it’s something in your game.
If it’s the mouse, you could try cleaining it. Can of air between the spaces, that sort of thing. Also try a different port.

Yeah, the first thing you need to establish is if it’s the mouse, the game or the port.

try downloading the software fr the muse u can change the settings in there for it.
like for mine, i can change the speed, color, and even the side buttons functions. I use the two side buttons to go back and forward on websites.
Your mouse buttons are starting to fail. Either from age or just general wear and tear from usage.
I get this using the W key, it’s been a fairly recent thing for me, I think it started with TWW.
I have had this exact issue but I first noticed it in shooters where you hold right click or something to aim down the scope.
Basically, MOST games MOST OF THE TIME don’t really need you to hold a mouse button like that. If it’s just a click, as most things are, it’s basically never an issue unless the mouse has completely died.
But holding the click is sometimes an issue, when it does come up. It’s almost definitely just the mouse failing. You can try cleaning it out or something but beyond that you probably need a replacement.
And Razer doesn’t make the Trinity anymore. Naga Pro V2 is fine if you use the MMO sideplate. Kind of out of luck if you used the Hex plate on the Trinity though. I miss that thing even though I wasn’t using it when it got discontinued. I think it’s better for MMOs for a lot of people vs the full 12, and the 2 rows on the Pro’s equivalent aren’t as easy to navigate as a ring around your thumb.
weird to have the right one go bad first since the left one should get more action.
i went on a conspiracy hunt thinking they might use a cheaper switch for the right clicker but it looks like they use the same lol
there are a bunch of guides on how to replace those switches but i’d just get a new mouse tbh.
This is my assessment as well based on what you’re saying, but as other people have also said, establish the issue first. Try a different mouse. Can be a cheap one with no buttons on the side. If the issue is replicated, something else is wrong. But likely, this is a mouse button failure issue. How old is the mouse?

Could it be your mouse button not regestering being pressed?
I use a Razer Deathadder. I had a issue with one of the buttons not always
working. What had happend is the small button underneath is made of plastic.
Over time, that small button can wear down and become shorter. Making it
so when you push the mouse button. It does not work due to there being a
gap there due to wear. Its like the small underneath button has its top grinded away
