So, for whatever reason I am unable to copy any text in game or from the SimulationCraft addon. From what I can see there is literally no reason why. I’ve made sure the text from the addon is highlighted before i attempt to copy; I have also tried to copy text that I highlight from my own chatbox and it doesnt work. My copy and paste commands work outside the game in web browsers. But for whatever reason in game they are not working at all. I have tried everything from uninstalling all my addons, resetting my ui, making WoW admin on my pc, to adding the copy and paste command to the list of hot keys that my keyboards software comes on. (Logitech gaming software.) This is sort of my last ditch effort before i give up on using the addon. So any help would be appreciated.
As far as I’m aware, the in-game UI has never had the ability to copy/paste, outside of the macro window.
You might try putting whatever you want to copy into a macro window and trying that way?
Barring that, there are specific addons that help with copy/pasting in-game.
