I played world of warcraft in the past only for like a month and then i stopped subscribing. I am planning on subscribing again. I want to know if I buy the shadowlands expansion and sub for like a month and make a new character what content will i experience? Will it be exile’s reach or what? And after exile’s reach what content will i have to go through?
After Exile’s reach you can pick a expansion to lvl up to until 49-50. You go to Chromie in SW to pick which expansion you want to lvl in. Then you can hop into SL content. Hope this helps a little.

If you did not complete BfA, you won’t be able to use Chromie time and must do BfA first. Unless they changed it in the recent patch.

How do I complete BFA first?
As far as I know it should just automatically direct you to quests for BFA once you complete Exile’s Reach.
