When I begin my Wow Classic journey as a Warrior and Warlock, I won’t have much gold. Where can I go on the internet to find out the best spells to buy while leveling? I know buying all of them right away is a waste of gold. Thanks.
Leveling guides on icy veins give you recommended abilities to buy.
Thanks for that.
For warlock you get a free level 40 mount and a 40% discount 60 mount, so you are free to buy all your spells without caring.
That’s a huge plus. Thanks for sharing that with me. I might only roll a Warlock and nothing else. I realized that if I play only 1 character, I can get so much more done in the game!
If you don’t spend money on gear, you should be able to buy all your abilities. I never had a problem.
I see. I’m just concerned with having enough gold to have a mount, if I decide to play a Warrior.
My solution for mount gold has always been skinning/herbalism until I have enough gold. You can vendor all the leather, though herbs will fetch a good price on the AH.
It does keep you from levelling professions in the beginning though.
How about starting out with Herbalism/Tailoring, so I can make bags early in the game? Then, switch back to to another gathering profession?
I think bags early on tends to get annoying, after people hit 10 slots (which is fairly quick) theyre cheap, and with a little bit of smart bag management never became an issue for me again. I just end up going to 14 later on after im already 60
So it depends on if u feel tailoring is necessary for you just to offset only a couple days wait. Vendors sell 6 slots in inns. Not too expensive either.
Yea whatever works, that can be good too. Skinning is better than most people think because there are so many skinnable mobs in the world, and vendor price for leather is pretty decent.
That’s helpful. I’ll just start out with skinning/mining.
what? 60 mount is a quest, it takes gold because u need to buy mats , but its almost free if some1 already has the mats
about bags , just give all the cloth to the "tailor of the guild " and get free bags as reward
The most expensive part is the auction house mats which costs hundreds of gold and very unlikely anyone is just going to gift you those.
If you have a buddy warlock, they might let you reuse the soulbound mats for free (most people charge you though).
It’s generally going to work out to around 500-600 gold.
Check guides. The basic idea is to buy all ranks of the abilities you use all the time, and for utility abilities where you only need the effect (e.g. Hamstring for warrior, Curse of Recklessness for warlock) only buy rank 1. For warlocks though watch out for the demon grimoires they really drain your gold as well. Depending for your playstyle (e.g. tank with voidwalker or drain tank with succubus) only buy the grimoires for that demon, plus the imp at the beginning or if you’re doing lots of dungeons.
I like to run herb or mining + skinning and switch skinning to a crafting profession at high level.
well yeah no1 is going to gift u those , but what we did back then was buy it btw 4 locks and get all the mount , we got mounts for other guildies , and even ppl payed some gold to be summoned to grab mount , and in the end it payed off itself lol
Another question I have is about enchanting. Is it true you can have an alt hit level 5 and make him an enchanter and then use him to disenchant gear that wouldn’t sell well on the AH? How high a level in enchanting do you have to get him so he can disenchant up to level 30 gear?
So your guild did gift you the materials in the hopes that your warlock would pay back by selling other warlocks mount runs so they could avoid the soulbound items. 99% of people will not be getting this from their guild.
It’s effectively a 40% discount for people buying the materials, which the vast majority will do.
