With how laggy the game has been. I accidentally sold a leather mythic BOE to my Auction house mount instead of posting it on the auction. There was no confirmation. It just sold the item. So what do you do? buy it back obviously from the vendor. But guess what. The item is now war bound and unable to be sold. I opened countless of tickets and all i get is auto replies saying we can not do anything. Check out the item restoration ect that does nothing. How am i paying for this game to endure server lag that has now cost me 400k gold. Can blizzard do something man. (btw it was a leather item and i was on a dk)
There is a conformation when selling a BoE, unless you are using an addon that auto accepts those when they pop up, which is on you.
Use the restore item function in the support dongle thing.
I have the item. Its just warbond until equip now
The only person that cost you 400k gold is you.
Take some responsibility and be more careful next time.
I doubt there’s anything you can do if restore item does nothing. Sorry. :\
In this case you could try making a ticket but honestly I doubt they’ll review it in your favor even if you actually get a real person to answer.
Yes, when it is so laggy that i close the vendor. Click on my auction house guy. Right click to put in the auction. And it vendors the item because of the lag. Ill be more smart next time bud
By vendoring it you learned the appearance, which is probably why it’s WuE.
Sucks that it happened, but I doubt there’s anything a Game Master will be willing to do.
Sadly, we can’t help you. And repeatedly opening tickets when you will get the same answer doesn’t really help.
We are not Blizzard, we are players. The only response you would get here from anyone at Blizzard (which is a vanishingly small chance) would be forum moderators who have nothing to do with GMs.
You made a mistake and sadly it happens. I know its frustrating but it is what it is.
the game hasn’t been laggy?
I don’t understand how this has anything to do with lag. Did the lag force you to click on the BoE when you were vendoring the items?
Because they cannot do anything. Once an item is sold and turned Warbound… it’s Warbound. GMs cannot rewrite the coding for you.
Even an old support comment says there’s nothing they can do for bound items:
Unfortunately, once an item is Soulbound, our Game Masters are unable to unbind it.
If that is how the game is currently programmed then there is nothing that the GMs can do to help you. They can’t change that. It does not matter why you sold it to the vendor, they have the same options to get it back that you do - and they would get the same results.
Right, You have the item back. That is the most they could do, and you did that yourself using the item buyback feature. They can’t change the Warbound part.
Then your SOL.
Gotta say, that does suck.
That being said, you are not the first. another person went through this and its auto warbound. same with the restoration.
Im sorry man, gotta take it on the chin here. its sad but it happens.

try again…then do a ticket.
Its acted funny on me before
It’s frustrating but hang in there. What you’ve lost out on now will come back to you in time.
400k gold? lmao. never seen that kind of cash on any (or all combined) characters ever.
so stop whining.
Unfortunately, Blizz will do nothing for this. Sorry you lost out on 400k, but this is why it is IMPERATIVE to not just autopilot when performing tasks. ALSO why one of my bags is designated for Gear, so I don’t mess up like this again.
