So, I have been creating communities and forming BOE farming groups for the last 2 tiers. I started farming mythic BOEs yesterday and quickly discovered a boss interaction that may not be intentional. This is one of those “it feels to good to be true” things, and i do know a lot of the times it feels that way, its prob not intentional. But then again, i felt this way about Freehold boosting and that seems to be Acceptable. I have played since vanilla and never been in trouble, The last thing i want is to risk my account so i am trying to get a confirmation from blizzard, and asap. Part of the reason is do to the nature of this topic, every hour matters- because with every hour/day the prices on the loot drops. What may sell for 700k now, may be 500k by the time i go to sleep or wake up.
What i am concerned with is- It is normal for boe clearing to use lust to clear trash faster, and then reset on boss. Similar to how it was done on the golem in mythic BOD before champion. But in Eternal Palace this feels broken do to the nature of the boss. When she is tagged she automatically shoots out her poison/frost debuff. This appears to have no range. Meaning even if you are at the instance entrance it hits you. This counts as being 'engaged" with the boss, meaning you dont have to hit the boss or be anywhere near her to drop lust and reset all your dps/healing cooldowns. This means, all you have to do is have one person stealth to the boss and just pull her every time she spawns. She will get hit- instantly debuff the raid, and then instantly despawn. Meaning well clearing the trash, all of the spells that typically reset on boss pulls are reset. You do not have to be anywhere near her. So everyone in the raid except for the boss puller just blasts the trash with lust up 100% of the time and all major cooldowns are pretty much a 15-20s cooldown. Obviously, it is still limited by the 10 instance per hour rule. I also know people have been clearing heroic EP trash for BOEs, so i suspect others have used this strategy and as there has been no notification or hotfix i do not know how to proceed.
