Blizzard could you please clarify this? Will we be able to “boost” (Not that I do boosting myself…) but I think people would want to know if it’ll be possible or not.
You killed GDKPs in Fresh, kill the boosting too please.

I would prepare yourself for 12 months of 99% of the under lvl 60 population to be either in a dungeon, or outside the instance portal waiting to enter and get boosted while they sit there and do nothing.

I used to boost stocks to get gold for consumes.

You probably won’t even see the advertisements on LFG channel
So if it’s not going to affect YOU, why do you want others to play the way you want?

I would like to see this as well since boosting is just one more way swipers ruin the game. I think the game would be better without the type of player that pays for others to boost their character. The community would be much better with out the P2W/P2Level type player.
This was a great addition and you can bet the majority of the community will report advertisements outside of that channel.
Boosting, RMT, GDKP et al do affect every denizen of a server. All humans that delve in illicit activity try to minimize the effect their actions have on others, its the oldest logical fallacy in existence.

Out of curiosity, is it the ranking change that has you so riled? I only ask because the vast majority of the classic community is excited about this iteration and its minimum changes.
They happy because they can finally obtain rank 14 without putting any effort in.
The ranking change is def one of the top reasons. Im not one of those people who think rank14 is completely skilled based either. But ive ranked on this system twice in era. It was the easiest, most boring grind ever. Its basically free weapons for those who play. AV will be the meta. The honor is to free and easy. You dont need any consumes.
The chronoboon is the main reason i am not playing and also why its a disgrace to call it fresh. Its very simple. Chronoboons belong on a PVE server not a PVP server.
also banning gdkps because they say it promotes RMT, while not even mentioning cracking down on gold selling/buying or RMT is insane to me. They ignore the root cause, and dictate how we can play. I am completely against gold buying and selling, they should all be perma banned, i dont care what happens to them. But they allow bots to run rampant and what not. They also are openly promoting DMT buffs/summons/portals in a separate channel, how are these people not considered gold sellers? What normal person is going to sit all day selling summons if no GDKPs are even on the server.
I think you mean Classic not fresh. This seems like a silly thing (to me) to care about one way or the other. After all, its not like they turned off PvP you just can’t grief (Blizz’s words not mine) raiders but you can still kill/camp them.
After playing the '19 release and SoD for 2 phases I am all for banning GDKP’s but your point about other forms of RMT are valid. I’m hoping they ban boosting as well to help curb the demand.
You know, I had never considered this point of view. I had a mage in '05 that just sat in SW selling portals, food and water and its how I paid for my epic mount. I suppose I just guessed those folks were doing the same but it would be a cheeky way for a gold seller to hide.

theres much more about the boon besides killing others with their buffs. I personally hate the gameplay in raid with the boon. Raid leader calls for unboon, reboon. save buffs here. open them here. I didnt enjoy that at all. Again, I dont see why a Pvp server becomes PVE focused. Theres nothing wrong with playing a pve server. But putting a shield on these game changing buffs while in the open world, you dont feel a sense of risk or anything.
I lasted 1 hour in SOD, couldnt do it. And i see you mentioned about a mage selling portals. What if people were like you and did that and wanted to gdkp? not all of us are gold sellers and buyers. Whats going to stop people from buying gold for epic mount? or a little package to raid for a couple months. RMT will always happen unless blizz fully stops it. So thats why i feel like banning gdkps is a copout. But its a great way for a gold seller to hide, and now they get blizzard promotion lol.
He understands. He just doesn’t care. The RMT apes are completely fine ruining the game for you then getting pissed off that you’re upset about it.

I hope youre ok. We both pay our money for subs, we have access to the forums and we can say what we wish. Plus im way more excited for MOP then a chronoboon classic lol. But we both on the same team, we all want gold buyers and sellers banned. so im glad we agree

Cool story, but that $15 sub doesn’t really entitle you to advocate for ruining the game for everyone else.

That’s a fair point, it did add much more than just “saving buffs”. I don’t mind it but I can see how others would see it as tedious.
Agreed, I play on PvE servers exclusively these days 
For me disliking GDKP goes WAY beyond the illicit gold part. I dislike using gold to puchase BoP gear in raids, full stop. While GDKP 100% promotes the purchase of illicit gold it also breaks down the core structure of MMO communities. I’m glad that era allows GDKP for those that like to purchase their pixels, but I prefer the traditional guild structure and dislike how GDKP’s encourage players to level alts to run GDKP’s to just purchase everything they need as opposed to being out in the world, farming mats and interacting with others. I prefer to be on a server where your reputation and actions count for more than how much gold you’ve made/purchased.
I see this different. I would rather them do something than nothing.
