Sorry to bother but could a blizzard guy confirm us if it’s mandatory to do main campaign on alts to access raid questline ? It would save us a lot of time if it is not the case.
I will quit playing before I do that questline on all my alts.
Even if giving a skip on alts immediately is not planned, or not possible to implement that fast, just an answer would be nice;
I’d rather have a No (from an official source ofc) than no answers at all : the doubt is what makes it even more annoying;
In my guild we personally have to maintain 6 chars, world first racers like echo and liquid are doing 16+ chars and they just do the main campaign because they simply do not want to take the risk ;
I’m fully aware we are an extremely tiny fraction of the community and that no one is technically forcing us to do this;
But even so if you can make it easier for us and it doesn’t cost you a lot of time and effort (there must be tons of other issues to fix that are more important and affect a bigger part of the playerbase, I Know.), please help us out or at the very least keep us updated.
Getting the news 3 days later will already be too late.
Didnt have to in DF. And every quest says “Your warband did this already”. Soooo…

There is a skip for the main level up campaign… once you finish it once, your alts can speak to Brann Bronzebeard and skip it.
They may have to be level 80 though…

This isnt vanilla WOW with attunements lmao. You can quite literally hit 80 that day and join the raid. For someone in a guild like you claim to be in, one would figure that yall noticed that, that has not been a requirement for quite some time.

That couldn’t have taken more than an hour to complete… doesn’t seem relevant to the raid thought. The raid seems like it is barely adjacent to the story.

Not only that, if you just look at the campaign, you finish 5/5 with a quest line that is completely unrelated to the raid. And you also get an achievement which clearly shows that this storyline and the quest line is clearly designed to be separated and you shouldn’t need to do it to access raid quest line.
But even with all those facts, people at echo liquid and other guilds are doing it.
Because this is still not an official confirmation - It’s simply not possible to take the risk even if it’s extremely low chance; so even if they hate doing it on 18 chars (or 6 for us) we have no choice. If we have no other priority and free time, we can’t justify not doing it unless blizz actually confirms it.
(Also just to make sure people understand what this is about , we are talking about the post 80 campaign. Not the leveling campaign which yes already has a skip enabled at brann.)
I can’t remember the last time you needed to do a quest to unlock a raid. The closest I can remember is needing to have the legendary cloak to do Ordos.

It was never about unlocking raid it’s about doing the quest line that ends wit killing boss because it rewards an enchanted heroic crest.
