Need Artifact Relics in BFA?

Hi. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any reason (perhaps achievements) that I would need to keep/use the relics I’m getting while questing in Legion?

I believe they are purely item level increases for your artifact weapon now, they no longer effect artifact traits.

Is item level needed for anything, or can I vendor the relics?

Other than making mobs die a tiny bit faster so you level faster…no not really. You’ll outlevel the content pretty quickly regardless.

Yes, relics in Legion will increase the Ilevel of your Artifact Weapon. If you’re just passing through on your way to BfA, they’re probably not needed and can be safely vendored.

No, I’m level 120. My hunter is just doing Legion for achievements. Do I need the Relics?
